That West guy is really annoying. If the writers make him a love interest, I hope it’s only so Claire can dump his sorry ass. Crying Maya is annoying too, but there’s potential for some pretty twisted stories there.
Hiro needs to hurry up and score with the babe so he can get back to the future. That’s probably gonna take half the season though.
My one thing to add, speculationwise, is that Noah told his wife that the painting he had was part of a series of eight.
The Nakamura and Petrelli elders said that there were “nine of us left”.
Each painting of the series will show the death of one of the nine. The only one not painted will be the one that’s arranging the other’s deaths. Or something like that.
I have to say that I’m glad that Mrs. Bennett is in on Claire’s power now. I wonder if Lyle knows?
As an aside, the actor who plays Lyle (or at least the actor’s agent) must be rather irritated that there are so many school scenes for Claire, but they aren’t writing him into any of them. He doesn’t even get a line at the dinner table.
About the Linderman being Kensai issue:
Wouldn’t Linderman remember someone with Hiro’s powers even all those years later?

One more speculation. Since this is based on preview ads, and some avoid those, I’ll spoiler it.
They’ve shown Sylar on a beach, saying, “What is this place?” to someone. I’m going to guess now that he’s still recovering from being run through, and is being nursed back to health by Candice. She’s damaged enough to think that’s a good idea, and she could easily make him think he’s lounging in the sand.
I guess Claire’s experiment was a new one. With the garbage disposal, the same fingers reattached themselves, right? And were her organs removed during the autopsy, and she reassembled herself with the same parts?
But, as mentioned, she doesn’t need to regenerate and reattach?? Is it supposed to be a change in her abilities, or just one she didn’t try before?

And I’m trying to remember how his brother got the power to pass through solid objects- was he ever with (oh what’s his name- the black guy from Vegas who’s with the multiple personality chick and has the kid who talks to machines)? I’m just glad that whoever kidnapped him gave him a new haircut without that annoying bang, and that he was able to keep that muscletone without exercise equipment.
Also, I wonder how Bennett explains his McMansion home on a Kinko’s-ish assistant manager salary. Obviously he took some hidden money with him, which makes me wonder why he bothers to work at all.

I need a glossary as to who’s met who on the show. Was this the first meeting between Matt and Ando (or Matt & Mrs. Petrelli)? Which other “heroes” haven’t met?
My peeves are twofold - Hiro in ancient Japan is boring the pants off of me, and is it just me, or are every Hispanic characters in primetime television (up until “Cane,” of course) a brother and sister in danger who are possibly just a little too close?
