Why couldn’t super-intelligence be GeniusKid’s power, a la Brainiac 5?
[Telepa-cop]Aw, dang; I knew we shouldn’t have gone to Mongolian Barbecue that day…
Supergenius kid is a worry of mine. I hate kids in in shows like these.
I’m hoping the kid isn’t super-powered, and mom can mostly leave him at the sitter’s while she’s off fighting evil, or doing evil or whatever her destiny is.
If they give the kid powers, I really hope one of them is growing to adulthood really fast. I know it’s been done to death, but I prefer that to listening to Genius Boy running around being cute and correcting the stupid adults all day.
Hell, no, you aren’t. May I offer our esteemed congressman Foley as the most recent example? Jeepers, Clinton did it for a BJ, fer cryin out loud.
And Kennedy before him (tho in those days the paparazzi were not as omniprescent)
Wanted to put out the word that CW is running a Heroes marathon this Sunday night from 8 til 11, episodes 1 thru 3.
Not at all, which is why I thought the mention of it was a woosh.
He could’ve put out a diversionary cover statement that they didn’t spend screen time on.
I agree with everything you’ve said except this, based solely on QB’s reaction upon seeing Claire at school. I think if he’d stripped her and dumped her his reaction would’ve been more extreme and I don’t think he would’ve been so calm about talking with her and letting her drive his car.
I thought it was 2 through 4. So if you need to see the pilot, I dunno, iTunes? SciFi?
NBC, right? Or am I clueless again?
the CW is? really? because it’s an NBC show that SciFi has rights to. And what’s CW doing showing another network’s show when they should be rerunning Veronica Mars and Smallville on Sundays?
Sorry guys for the misinformation. NBC is running the marathon NOT CW. I guess I had CW on the brain after programming my VCR. I will wear my cheerleading uniform all night as punishment.

I don’t think the Dopplebanger is Niki’s ex. I think Bad Dad’s henchman is her ex. We know that he killed a bunch of people and is on the run…QUOTE]
Nope. There are two similar-looking black men in the cast, we’ve only met the one so far, and it’s not D.L. (Leonard Roberts)
The one we’ve met (“Mysterious Man” - Jimmy Jean-Louis) could be a “screamer.” A screamer sends out psionic interference, but this guy could have control over it.
I saw a making-of promotional spot while at Costco. Masi Oka, the actor who plays Hiro, sounds pretty much like Future-Hiro.
BTW, Future-Hiro weilds a sword because guns would suck with time stopped.
Nora Zehetner was listed in the credits as a guest-star, which often means imminent death, but I saw a shot of Eden and Mohinder in what I swear looked like Niki’s garage. I don’t think she’s an evil plant, she’s there so Mohinder isn’t talking to himself (in addition to the voice-overs).
I’ll be updating my connection chart now…
SciFi and NBC are corporate sisters, so this makes sense.
Loved your last chart. Here are some of the nicknames:
Cheerbleeder
Prognostipainter
Constiporter / Super Hiro
Thought Police? Telepa-cop?
Murse (mimic nurse / male nurse)
Captain Congress
The Doppelbanger
QB McRapesalot
What’s CW?
New-Agey-Hippy-Doesn’t-Understand-Evolution-Geneticist’s change in demeanor is pretty unbelievable.
So he knows some Spooky Government Bureau killed his father, and is stalking him because he’s onto something. He found a creepy ass lair that somehow got totally cleaned out in a few hours. Something big and bizarre is clearly going on.
So someone goes to him who claims to be part of it, and his reaction is "  yeah whatever dude" like the very thought is ridiculous.
Given his misunderstandings of evolution, and his lack of deductive reasoning - where did he get his degree? Was it an honorary degree from clown school?

What’s CW?
CW is the new name for the WB Network.
I totally agree with you about Neru Taxi-dermist. Complete turnaround in attitude for no apparent reason.
So far it looks like only Peter and Hiro are excited about their powers. Well, I guess after this week you’d have to add Druggy Artist. That in and of itself makes this take on Superheroes out of the ordinary. I don’t follow the comic book genre, so, is this attitude as unusual as I think it is?
TelepaCop seemed pretty happy practicing his mad mind skillz in the bar, right up until he face-planted.
So Nikki is a sort of Jekyll and Hyde? Has she evidenced any sort of superpowers? Because right now, she just looks look like a garden variety fugue head case. (When she changed in the elevator, she wasn’t in two places at once or anything – she just went into “you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry” mode)
I missed the pilot -- do we know for sure that Sylar is a male? Because I'm thinking that cute pixie girl had a mighty close relationship with Mohinder's dad, as apprently did Sylar. She's adorable, so it would really suck if she turned out to be a brain-eater (although I agree that there's a high possibility that she's at least a bad guy.)
