Know what I giggle at in this show? Every time we see that Nissan Versa, it’s not moving. That’s got to be the best swipe at product placement ever. Yeah, we took their money, but, it’s not like we have to show people the car performs or anything.

I really liked it (and will repeat again that I was the first on SDMB that argued that Claire’s dad might not be evil). But one thing that bugged me with this latest outing was a continuity error. When Niki’s ex is sleeping on the counch, she says that he’s welcome to stay to morning (before inviting him to her own bed). This is intercut with breakfast talk in Claire’s family about inviting her birth parents.
Laso - Indian guy laying Mohindar is too good looking. He might convince me to change preferences. There are no females with that kinda eye-candy factor in the show.
If that MySpace profile is set up by someone involved with the show, I’m 99% sure Zach is meant to be gay. His favorite movies include Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and others. I realize straight men can like those movies too, but I don’t think that’s what they’re going for here.

Both Zach’s & Claire’s myspace profiles list them as 18 years old. I thought they were younger than that.

I’m NOT sure they’re official, which is why I said “if” in my post above. Somebody’s putting a bunch of effort into it though, with blog posts and everything!

I would bet money on these being fakes. Why would NBC shill for Myspace? I doubt Myspace is putting out money for product placement. At least not yet. If NBC were to set up a blog for the characters it would be on a phoney website of their own, sort of like ABC does with all the Lost sites. Until I see a link from an NBC property I would ignore it as being fake.

I don’t think it’s the writer’s actual intention to do that. (But you never know what they might decide several seasons down the road if they show starts swirling the bowl.) I really do think it was just a pep talk to make Hiro feel better. Future-Hiro talked about the dangers of causing a rift even though Present Hiro was nowhere near the subway when he went to talk to Nurse Brother. Seems like the chance of a rift would be much, much greater if Present-Hiro was only a thin door away from Future-Hiro saving the poker players.
While we were watching Niki fetch the money from the attic, Hubby said he couldn’t believe she’d be so stupid as to go for the money while DL was still in the house. I opined that it must have been part of ikiN’s plan. She meant for DL to find Niki holding the money. I doubt, however, she intended DL to snatch the kid and run after giving her an inside-out choke hold. I think she planned to kill him after he became enraged when seeing Niki holding the money, but the plan went awry. She didn’t expect him to have superpowers.
