Hm. Claire’s dad did mention something about her being in bad shape when he first met her. I suppose she could be referring to a former addiction. makes note to watch episode again
What exactly is Claire’s dad doing, anyway? Trying to find Sylar? Trying to locate supers who can help him do so? Is his “research” supported by the government, or is he doing this on his own?
IMDB has the character’s name as Sanjog Iyer, and the actor is a boy. It’s weird that his name is so close to Syler/Sylar, but maybe it’s just a coincidence.
Otto, I forgot about that part, the extrapolation. Cool!
I’m losing track of everyone’s location too. Where are they? Where are Clea Duvall and the cop and Atomic Man?
How exactly is he going to come back the long way? You mean, he goes back to the past and just waits until it becomes that point in time when she was supposed to be killed? Isn’t that positing an alternate timeline branching out from the point in the past he travels to?
I’m not quite sure what would cause a delay in his return, whatever the case. No matter how long he stays in the past, it really shouldn’t matter since all he’d have to do is jump back to the same point in the future he jumped from. His friend (Ando?) would experience it as a few seconds regardless of whether Hiro was gone for five minutes or five months.
Just to clear something up I went to IMDB and looked at the castlist. S. Iyer is indeed male. It appears that any similarity to the names S.Iyer and Sylar are coincidental.
I really hate when writers give characters similar names (Robert Jordan I’m looking at you).
By the way …
I was surprised to see who was cast as Sylar! I didn’t think he did TV. Go see for yourself. ; P
Or you could just read the spoiler in the post above mine. Should have previewed.
I thought of another question. Mysterious man (the bald black guy in the bar and Mr. Bennett’s helper) is now The Haitian. How did Radioactive Man and Telepacop know he was Haitian? Did I miss something there, like was her wearing a “Kiss Me, I’m Haitian!” button?
Oh, and in regards to the waitress getting killed. I thought the bit with her opening the can was foreshadowing what was about to happen to her, so maybe she was killed with a giant can opener?
Yeah, Eden is the chick who keeps messing with dude’s heads. First Mohinder, and now Isaac. What’s her problem? She’s gotta be some kinda mental drama queen.
AED is a paper salesman, eh. Guess he’s not ambiguous any more, then. Definitely evil.
