That probably makes the most sense. But damn, does this show need another super powered kid?
Radioactive Man made me cheer in this episode. One convention that pisses me off to unbelievable amounts in most super-heroic universes is the Evil Government Agency that menaces the superheros. (Another is the ruthless crime bosses.) The idea that the government would try to treat superhumans like any other class of oppressed people works exactly up until you run into a superhuman that melts your face off. The idea of scary government agents only works when you’re afraid of people with guns (and a side order of superpowers).
Likewise, I’d really like to see Peter Petrelli do his Superman trick, on a ballistic angle towards Linderman’s hotel, with as heavy a rock as he can drag, and then let go. Repeat.
Or better yet, he can use Niki.
Is anyone “bending over backwards”? The show’s creators refer to him as “the Haitian.” Why would we refer to him as “That Black Guy” when we can refer to him as the Haitian?
Didn’t Nathan refer to him as the “Euro Dude” or something?
Especially one with the powers of Franklin Richards as Tattletale. shudder The only good part is that I used to really, really enjoy Power Pack and I’m looking forward to seeing Lightspeed, Mass Master, Gee, and Energizer on the small screen. Er… I mean Destroyer, and um… Molecula, and Counterweight, and that horse looking guy.

I do not go to spoiler sites and this is the only place I read about this show so the following is only my guess. I’ll put it in spoiler boxes any way.
Tim will be the cause of the explosion they are trying to stop. Somehow Claire’s indestructibility will allow her to stop him. Maybe she will be the only one who can get close to him when he is radiating.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks she has a giant alien head. And those ears! I’m hypnotized by those giant freaky looking ears.

Cover those things up. Use a tarp if you have to. They are distracting me from my show.
Maybe it’s just because it’s still early and I haven’t had my coffee, but that is one scary picture!
I was wondering about that. First, how long does it take to break a physical heroin addiction? They haven’t had Isaac for more than a few days, have they?
Also, it kinda makes sense Eden is helping him with the psychological addiction, but her powers may have limits. Heroin addiction has got to be a pretty powerful counter-compulsion despite her abilities.
Rapid detox centers boast 24 hours.
On what planet do you people live that her ears are considered scary-large?
I’m no expert on anatomy but the flappy thingy where the earings go is at least twice as wide as it is on humans. It is a lot clearer in the close ups on the show. I haven’t even started talking about here giant egg shaped cranium. She looks much better when her hair is longer and covering it up.
Jeez. Did you freak out at Max from Roswell? Those are some ears. Dennis Rodman? Truly gifted. Those are what I consider excessive earage.
I dunno. Maybe it’s my Scandanavian genes, but I don’t find her ears remarkable in the least. Perhaps you would post a pic of ears you don’t find objectionable?
It’s such a great show, it’s too bad all we can talk about is whether someone’s ears are too big.

Ahh, that bit in the opening credits where the light behind him was actually shining through his Dumbo-sized ears … one of my favorite things about that show.
Why do I have to post pictures? How about every other ear in the show? Besides I don’t find them objectionable, I find them distracting.

Go ahead and talk about something else and maybe you’ll get some responses. I don’t think I broke the thread just because I brought up something that is distracting me when I watch the show.
