Yay! I wish I had something constructive to contribute, but-- yay! Best show ever! And next week’s episode looks sooo cool (can I just mention that I have little to no interest in regular superhero stuff except maybe Kavalier and Clay, so there’s really no explanation for my fanaticism for this show except that it is truly kickass. Also, love seeing so many cool female and non-white jocky guy characters)

Seriously - it looked like they ran out of the school, up steps up the amphitheater, Claire runs off to find help and Pete and Sylar fall off the back of the amphitheater to the main entrance to the school. I was making dinner - did I miss something? Otherwise that seems like an odd setup.

Looks like next week is background stuff. I would prefer they took care of that in the graphic novels, damnit. I want to know what happens next!

He shouldn’t really be covered in any blood. When Claire bleeds she’s been shown at least twice to re-absorb the blood so if Peter’s mimicking her powers then he should have re-absorbed his blood too.
Of course Claire didn’t seem to absorb her own blood this time either…
I have to say, I really was disappointed in the epic battle between the forces of good and evil. Peter knocks Sylar off a roof, Claire runs away and Eden puts Sylar to sleep with her Ben Gesserit witchiness, with an assist from the Haitian. By the way, thanks so much to everyone for babbling away about Eden’s freakish ears in the last thread, now I can’t look at anything else.
Next week, looks like some sort of flashback-style ep, perhaps based on Hiro’s being in the past? Speculation based on the previews, I’m now thinking that Jessica was Niki’s actual twin sister who died and Niki has the power to absorb psyches and she absorbed Jessica’s. Which I suppose is painfully obvious, huh.
For some reason I never guessed that Sylar was using his powers to slice heads open. :smack:

I’m guessing he makes himself ethereal at the last moment and the bullet passes through him. Don’t know how he’s supposed to realize the shot is coming, though.
There’s no way they’re killing off such a major character that easily. Besides, he has the power to phase through objects. Shouldn’t he be able to pass through a bullet, if he was on guard?

To borrow from X-men, Kitty Pryde had at one point conditioned herself to phase reflexively at the sound of gunfire, so Ghost Dad could have done the same thing.
What I meant was that I doubt they’d let him die in such a manner. It would have to be all dramatic with classical music and weeping and stuff. There are shows (moves, books, etc) that off their characters in unexpected ways, but I don’t think that’s going to happen here.
Seriously. Do you honestly think they’re going to open the next episode by showing us a dead/dying DL, or are you just playing devil’s advocate? 
Out of curiosity, did you have anything interesting to add to the discussion, or just this? Seriously, can you, maybe, say what you actually didn’t like about the ep instead of posting one-word reviews in obnoxiously large type?
Y’know, you keep saying this sort of thing. It would be nice if we could see the reasoning behind it…
