TK stringons may be the first explanation I’ve ever heard of why I should care about String Theory that might hold my interest.
It looked like a large key of some kind. I also noticed a preserved brain and a few playing cards in the vault as well.
The flaming beam was leaning up against the door, not just the wall.
It was… most disturbing. I had to take about five minutes to compose myself after the full import of that scene hit me.
That story is called “The Lost Room.”
The playing cards looked like the cards Hiro and Ando switched to steal the pot from the poker players in S1.
Different strain, and I don’t think there was any evidence that Niki’s strain was airborne. I’d guess not, since a company full of Metas would hardly want an airborne strain of a power-stealing virus around.
I was assuming that he was tapped into “The Network” that all comic book machines share via the cell phone.
It also opens the possibility that Adam will return and be really pissed that he had to spend the last year clawing his way out of a coffin and through six feet of dirt.
He was able to jack the results of Nathan’s elections by instructing all of the voting machines through one. Not too much of a stretch to think he accessed the traffic system through a wireless connection through the cell phone.
Shouldn’t Peter have been able to liquefy the metal of the vault door, since Syler stole that guy’s powers?
I think he’d have to know about it first.
That was the best part! “Ok, we don’t talk about that, ever again!”
I love to wank fan more than anybody, but I recognize a flaw in your fanwankery!
Your point number 2: It had been previously shown that Peter can phase other people in and out so long as they grab onto him. That’s how Peter & Adam escaped their cells from ‘The Company’.
Point one is assuming his powers are like that of Nightcrawler from Xmen. He can’t just ‘Bamf’ anywhere, cause he needs to be sure it’s open space on the other side. Peter can just keep walking until he finds it.
Allow me to give it a shot: Peter had to wrench the door open with his mind-powers cause he’s just kinda dumb.
Peter had to wench the doors open to prove that the company would make it ‘difficult’ and that the virus was ‘protected’ - afterall, they knew the 5 ‘gaurds’ and all the alarms would do nothing to stop 5 people from walking in.
Peter/Adam - I get that the gaurds would leave them alone, but Mat and Nathan shouldnt have been able to get past the big metal doors (or gates) that should’ve come down when the alarms went. ANd the other gaurds with big guns should’ve started shooting them.
And yet, I loved it. BWAHAHAHAH.
Dammit, I wanted to respond that Uma Thurmann had a perfect response to that.
Err, more like a 4 x 6 or 6 x 6, or even bigger.
I got the sense that he heated it to 3000 degrees or so with his magically irradiative hands. That should kill off most shit.
Actually, I thought that was totally cool. Hiro as the black-hearted total badass.
And I’m thinking ‘helluvaplan dude, take the mutated virus, nuke it, and mutate it some more!’ That virus will evolve up so high it’ll want to go find a pair of pants before it leaves the building.
Yeah, but how the heck did Hiro get Adam into the coffin?
Eh, screw it. I’m willing to forgive a lot for a neat wrap-up like that.
