Heroes 2/19 - "Unexpected" (SPOILERS)

But NYC is the world. Just ask anyone from there.

re: the gun recoil…

Hiro can bend time AND space… perhaps he just reversed the course of the bullet… y’know, turned it around or something…

yeah, yeah, that’s it…

Claude’s scar looked different. Bigger. Like he was digging at it. He removed whatever it was they put in him.

He removed a radioactive isotope from his blood stream? :dubious:

He’s had a few years to work at it!

Not being too terribly familiar with radioactive isotopes, wouldn’t they kinda sorta hafta at some point pass out of the body? If they thought Claude was dead they weren’t going to be looking for him and that would allow time for his system to process the isotope.

She was opening the door with her key; Isaac heard the noise, assumed it was Peter, whirled around and fired just as she was stepping inside. That’s why, I think, they had the closeup with her holding the key, because ultimately it led to her death. If she hadn’t had the key, she wouldn’t have been able to open the door in the first place.

I don’t know about the acting in that scene, but I did like HOW Simone ended up dying. It was quite a shock - to me, anyway. And I did like how they tied in Isaac’s insistence that she keep the key. There’s some kind of dramatic irony in there somewhere, but right now I’m too sleepy to figure it out.

He was apparently bagged & tagged over a decade ago. The tagger gun that WiFem had did not look like it was 10-year old tech. We can easily infer that whatever they used to track Claude has been upgraded in the intervening time to something more effective (“radioactive isotopes”).

After all, they surely knew the tracker didn’t work with Claude, since they never found him or his body, so there’d’ve been incentive for them to upgrade.

Of course, AED should know that Peter has some kind of healing power from the save the cheerleader incident. Does he know what Peter’s power is?

One of the problems with shows where lots of people are suddenly let onto a major secret is why nobody goes public. They killed off the only character that expressed any desire to alert the media two weeks before New York is expected to explode.

Maybe I missed a line of dialogue. I didn’t hear that is was supposed to be in the blood. My idea still works. If you wanted to inject something directly into the blood stream thats exactly what you would do. Use a needle right into a vein. If you are using a twin bladed gun thingy you are not going IV. They are injecting something into the muscle. Maybe it is a lump of the radioactive isotope that leeches into the blood stream over time. Like someone said it would pass out of the body otherwise. Maybe he dug out that lump so no more could get into his blood?

Why does someone have a single key not on some sort of keyring? Because they are returning it. I got the impression that they showed the key to say that she was returning the key to Issac.

In a previous episode, last week ? Simone also tried to return the key but then it was still on a huge keyring - I remember her placing it with a bunch on a table in Isaac’s studio … maybe last time it was a gesture and this week it was for real. She had tried to hand it back earlier this episode too but he persuaded her to keep it so essentially it’s Issac’s fault she was there to be shot.

Ya know, when I want to return a key, and the returnnee says ‘no’, I just throw the damn thing away or set it on the table and leave…

M-O-O-N - That spells Tom Cullen!
He also played Tom in The Stand miniseries.

Grumble

Simone kept the key.

was she returning it?

we don’t know.

but why then did she use it?

I don’t know.

Is she dead dead.

Probably.

So New York explodes next week?

Unlikely, he does have Hiro’s power.

Yeah, but who can blame her really. Isaac, Peter - maybe Peter’s older brother. Who could really decide? It’s like Marie Callender’s.

Nope. I thought so at first, too, but…

‘‘For the record,’’ he says, ‘‘I am not the Geico caveman.’’

No this is

Those were my thoughts as well. So maybe Isaac kills himself. I would go for that. He’s become an annoying twit since he quit the junk. So I hope he goes back to the junk and then Sylar shows up and eats his brains or he commits suicide.
