Since Claude stays invisible how could Sylar have found him? Even if he was on the list, there wouldn’t be a current address since he’s been hiding for 15 years. Sylar would not only have to have an idea where to look, he’d have to know Claude was invisible and be on the listen for his heartbeat. Claude hides in crowds, it would be hard to pick his heartbeat out of crowd no matter how good your hearing. Not to mention having to slice him open in the crowd.
I could be wrong but I think that may have been a red herring to make us think that happened.
As for the promo, at least it wasn’t Issac with his top popped.
I think that in respect for our west-coast and east-hemisphere friends, we shouldn’t discuss who is a bad-ass, who is a fat-ass, and who is a dead-ass.
I thought the same thing. I’d say probably not, at least I sure hope not. He’s one of my favorite characters in the show.
Peter Petrelli.
And Candice hinted at something I’d already be suspecting: That the candice we see isn’t really the way she looks in her true form. She’s probably big and fat, heck maybe she’s a 400 pound guy.
So in this one episode we’ve lost Linderman, Ted Sprague and DL? Maybe none of the main characters will be alive by the end of next weeks episode.
I would’ve thought it took a lot of training to learn how to be proficient with a sword. Appearantly it only takes an hour or so of sparring with Sulu and you’re good to go.
I’d been wondering if we’ve ever seen Candace’s real appearance; tonight she said something about being huge. She seems to have fine control over the illusions she creates; maybe even her normal form is an illusion.
How did two different people get the drop on Parker in the space of five minutes?
I think it’s kinda silly to not discuss details of the episode because some folks haven’t watched it yet. If you don’t want it spoiled, why even open the thread? If we’re not supposed to talk about the show, what’s the point of even having a thread about the episode?
I do understand wanting to spoiler any info shown in commercials and previews for upcoming episodes however. Like where they showed that Micah is really the one who kills Sylar with a ninja sword. Oops, I’ve said too much.
It takes a while. At first I thought maybe Hiro was using his power to get them more time to train, but apparently he took Daddy Sulu’s intensive one-hour course. Though it wasn’t really swordwork he had to learn so much as the willingness to do what was necessary.
One other thing. Did Linderman cure Nathan Petrelli’s wife to help win him over? Wasn’t it Linderman’s men who caused her injury in the first place? I can’t imagine that Petrelli would be too swayed by that kindness…
Then what exactly should we discuss in a thread specifically made about this episode? i would imagine our west-coast and east-hemisphere friends would be smart enough to wait until after watching the show to open a thread that discusses said show. Hiro could have spent weeks training with Zulu, he can freeze time after all :).
The air in Mr. Claremont’s shop (Bill’s Sword Repair, Samurai Swords a specialty) (How can you have a Days of Future Past without a Claremont?) was tinged blue. Time may have been slowed. Hiro lost weight, I think.
But mostly… ‘You can do it in a montage… (montage)’
OK, sorry, one more for tonight. Sulu hinted at formerly being part of this Justice League that we’ve heard suggestions of previously. I’m assuming it consisted of Sulu, Papa Petrelli, Linderman, Simone’s father (I mean just about every critical moment in the series has taken place on top of his building. That sure can’t be a coincidence) and maybe Mama Petrelli. There were probably other member too. Hopefully we’ll eventually learn more about that via flashback episodes.
It kind of reminds me of the original group of heroes in the 1950’s in the first Wildcards book.
And his heart seems to be in the process of cutting himself out, without any help from Hiro!
Now that we’re done teasing the other-timezoners… did we just see the 5-years-from-now future change? If (1) DL kicks the bucket with no Sylar around, and (2) there’s no power duplication between heroes, then (3) Sylar couldn’t’ve eaten DL’s brain to walk through the door to get Peter.
… Although Claude had apparently met someone with Peter’s powers before, and It looks from the previews that DL isn’t quite dead yet. Maybe it was just a flesh wound.
Too bad Jessica didn’t know that Mr. Linderman could heal – he might not have been trying to kill DL, but just was roughing him up a bit to keep 'em in line.
Here’s hoping the aforementioned Heroes: Origins shows us some more about Mr. Linderman, Simone’s dead dad, Mama Petrelli, and Sulu’s pasts.
Yes, he did it to put Nathan in his debt. But her injury was caused by Nathan unintentionally flying out of his car while she was stuck in the passenger seat.
