Heroes Reborn

I recorded the premier - is it worth watching? I’ve seen reviews all over the place but I’m curious what dopers think.

(if it is bad, I do have unwatched Dr. Who episodes on Netflix waiting for me)

Very dark, rather bloody, but it has definite possibilities. I am continuing recording, and am hopeful, but wary.

I think they’re doing a pretty scattershot approach, throwing a lot of characters and situations and mysteries at the wall, and hoping something sticks.

Whether or not anything WILL remains to be seen.

It wasn’t awful, but it had some of the same problems that the earlier version had. And I’m not giving this team of people, with this story, and this pilot the benefit of the doubt that they’ll figure it out and fix the show.

I was entertained. I like the “Katana Girl” storyline, and the “wimpy kid” who does not appear to have a diary.

I’ll watch a couple more episodes to see if it goes anywhere. It didn’t really impress me, but the potential is still there. I’d like to see them complete some short sub-stories, that would help me watch a longer arc all the way through the season.

I’ll make up my mind based on whatever else is on that night, and whether or not I choose to watch TV at all.

I’ve seen way too many pilots this year that don’t seem to have much idea where they’re going.

I thought katana girl was horrible but thankfully it appears that so far she is not connected to the rest of the story. That probably won’t last, but for now i will do my best to ignore anything doing with her.

Is it still just a 13 episode mini-ish series, or are they setting up for a longer haul?
