I'm going through Heroes withdraw.

So, I just finished watching the entire series of “Heroes”.

Man! what a great show. I don’t know why I never watched it when the show came out!

The one thing I’m pissed about is that I was of the understanding that the writers of the show wrapped everything up nicely. They did NOT!

Does anybody know what happened? You could tell that, clearly from the last show, they intended on coming back next season.

Thank you. I thought I was the only one who liked the show through its entire run.

I liked it at the beginning and i liked it at the end. I miss Hiro and Ando hyjinx most of all.

Aw damn, now I’m compelled to break open the S1 BD’s I got cheap at Amazon.

Wow, I’m glad to hear someone liked it.

I always thought the first season was amazing, but went steeply downhill from there. One of those times the writers had not thought things through and got sort of lost along the way. In fact, along with Twin Peaks, Heroes is the fastest decline I’ve seen in a show.

Anyway, they did expect to be renewed one more time. Their cancellation was considered more or less about 70% chance to survive, 30% chance to sink.

The sunk.

You might want to consider the british Misfits. Trailer.
People gain super, or not-so-super powers (I think my fave is the ability to control milk) after a mysterious storm. The series centres around five teenage offenders doing community service.

WARNING - contains gloriously foul language and a lot of shagging.

Do not watch with parents or children in the room.

The only reason I read this thread was because of the great tie-in between the thread title and the OP’s user name.

Other than that, I thought the best way to get off Heroes was to watch an episode past the first season. It sure cured me. Hi, Malaloth.

I just started the final season. I have enjoyed the show, especially the first season. Some of the things the people in charge of the show did made me scratch my head and roll my eyes, but I still found it overall enjoyable.

The show never hooked me like Lost did, so it didn’t bother me too much when the show started going off in weird directions.
