[Airplane!]
I just want you to know, we’re all counting on you. Good luck.
[/Airplane!]
Is there an echo in here?
So, think, have you been giving mrblue some kind of class? I’m beginning to see a familiar influence in our previously innocent and naive mrblue!
[sub]or was it all an act? hmmmmmmm[/sub]
I may be innocent, Bunny, but I’m far from naive. Surprisingly enough, the duality isn’t that difficult to maintain. Once you get past the insanity, that is.
Bunny, mrblue has all the class he’ll ever need. He’s dripping with class. He’s a downright classy guy. In short, what was your question?
Oh ho, it’s all been an act, has it! Well, you’ve exposed yourself now! [sub]there’s a joke waiting to happen![/sub]
And hey, what about breakfast!? Anyone, anyone?
Well, you know, he appears to have picked up a few of your more conspicuous charming qualities (flirt, good with innuendo, a predilection for the “spanking” scene from Holy Grail), so I didn’t know if you were holding some kind of class for SDMB men or what!
I’m just that good…
<strolls breezily out the door>
bait? It’s just too easy.
Yea this flirty stuff is the act. Just fun and wordplay, as I’m sure you know that nothing is going to happen. (Not that you aren’t all very lovely women, of course.) Sorry to ruin the illusion, but my integrity is important to me.
Perhaps your definition of “naive” differs from mine. I’m not blissfully unaware of what happens in reality, but yet I’m still innocent. As Kathyrn might say, innocence as an educated choice.
And FWIW, I’ve referenced that particular Galahad scene before… but I fail miserably at real flirting.
ANYWAY…
Now tell me why each of you girls are naughty and need to be… disciplined.
Sheesh! Don’t scare me!
I was all worried that I had offended you or something. I was composing an apology email in my head the whole time during lunch! Sheesh.
Now, about that discipline…
[sub]I’ll have you know that I’ve always considered you nothing short of an absolute gentleman![/sub]
No apologies necessary, my little cotton-tail. I just thought a clarification was in order.
Okay, you two, there is entirely too much gratuitous flirting going on here, especially considering that you are leaving me out
As for where to meet at the mall, I think meeting at the center court around 11 a.m. sounds like a good plan to me. As for early breakfast at the mall versus lunch at the art fair, either is fine by me. I’m sure if you asked my son, he would say “why not do both?”. Of course, he eats like there is no tomorrow normally.
Mr. Cranky just did the shuttle thing to come meet me for a little Art Fair Action. I think it’s a good idea to meet in center court, because based on his experience today, there’s little chance any of us will get to park close to where the shuttle leaves from, anyway. Note that there are banks and stuff on the perimeter of the mall so if everything’s full, that’s an option. The shuttle leaves from the entrance by Eddie Bauer & Sears, but just park where you can and meet in the middle!
I will plan on meeting everyone in the center court at 11:00 unless I hear of plans for breakfast somewhere!
Shadow, I’m in a Denny’s state of mind.
I am SO glad this is going to happen. Yay! I’m geeked!
Make sure you’ve got sturdy walking shoes, folks. And sunscreen is probably a good idea, too. I don’t remember if it’s already been said, but this is all outdoors.
Cranky: You work just a scant few blocks from my former employer, the Ann Arbor News. Boy, do I remember trying to get around the downtown area during the Fair…gaaaaaah. And parking? All I can say is thank the Goddess the News had it’s own lots. Otherwise we’d have had to shut down for four days. Oy vey.
OK, 11 am at the center court. Sounds good!
The last time I was at Briarwood, a lot of the shops were closing, and I think many of the restaurants went with them. There’s still the Starbucks, the cookie stand, and Williams Sonoma, though, so it’s all good.
Okay, after laying in bed this morning, realizing that there was no way I was going to get up any earlier on a Saturday morning than I had to, let’s skip breakfast and I’ll grab a pretzel in the Mall!
See y’all at 11:00, center court, ready to shop. I’ve got two birthdays to buy for.
Ok, I am in. See you guys at 11 at Center court.
I am looking forward to this!!!
