Who? What team did he play for? Gawd, I though I knew every one-game pro-bowl quarterback who played the game of his life against the 'Queens. WHO?
Heh, at first I thought he meant 'roid-boy Hovan. Then I saw he meant a legit NFL player when I was Weinke. My bad. :smack:

Well, goddamnit anyway! SELF- :wally :wally :wally
Hey, I didn’t know you were still in high school.
Chris Weinke was a Heisman trophy winner from Florida State who was drafted by the Panthers.
Do you remember the season that started off with the Vikings giving up a touchdown on the opening kickoff to the Panthers on opening day? That was the game. It was the only game the Panthers won all year. People though Weinke was going to be the real deal for a week or so. Now I think he’s third on the depth chart.
It’s a deal and yes, my wife will be driving. I don’t even feel comfortable having one beer and driving. If I get pulled over I want to be able to honestly say that I haven’t had a drop.
That’s not accurate. If the Pack wins Friday, they clinch the division. The Vikings could only hope to have the same record, and the Packers have the head-to-head tie-breaker. If the Vikings win Friday, they clinch on the common games tie-breaker.
… and a chick.
You people just don’t appreciate good sippin’ booze.
You are correct, whomever wins on Friday will clinch. The last game won’t mean poop.
Now, if the Vikes loose, they could still technically not make the playoffs. I think the Bears could still catch them if all the stars line up.
?Sure we do, that’s why we drink Jack or Crown.
I was at a Ski Lodge in Colorado (Avon area) and they had the most exotic wine and booze list I had ever seen. Bottles of some stuff for $1,200 and shots of other stuff for $40 per each. I can’t imagine that it could be that much better than SC, Jack, Crown or what-have-you. Boggles the mind.
The irony of that statement just broke my ironometer. I assure you that people who are in a position to rate such things rate Southern Comfort near the bottom of sippin’ whiskeys… BELOW such entrants as Old Grand Dad and Wild Turkey. You have to go to store brands to get lower in quality than SoCo.
Tell you what, duff. Have a Maker’s Mark Old Fashioned, or Knob Creek neat (add some branch if you don’t like da burn). Don’t worry, Dio’s paying. Savor it, and then come back and tell me it was better than SoCo.
As for you, Uncommon, you should know that Jack and Crown aren’t even in the top ten. But as long as you don’t tell me Jack Daniels is bourbon, I won’t come after you with a tire iron.
Please drink responsibly.
So how do you whiskey snobs feel about your mixers? Coke? Diet Coke? Pepsi? Mountain Dew? What works best?
Duff, you’ve got email.
On the rocks with a splash of water. Wait fifteen minutes, mix, enjoy.
You think you’re funny, don’t you?
Yes, I agree. I just can’t afford the likes of the more expensive stuff. Well, I can afford it, the wife just has other plans with the money.
I just started making my own wine in the basement of the house here. As far as my own tastes go, they should become a little more refined in the next few years as I try to perfect the wines. Hopefully that will translate to the more finer bourbons as well.
You never know with that guy, he might be serious. :dubious:
Heh.
Go Pack.
