You really should have waited to tell CircusPhreak about the ass-out-the-window thing. We usually save those Newbie Rites of Passage for later. Besides, we don’t want him/her to be scared off by the vision of over 10,000 asses hanging out of 10,000 windows. Unless, of course, CircusPhreak gets off on that kind of thing. In that case, CircusPhreak can be the Master of Ceremonies at the next Ass-Out-The-Window-Fest. We’re having one here next week.

Let me second CircusPhreak’s sentiment – you guys are awesome! I am a frequent lurker, working on becoming a more frequent poster. In addition to being intelligent, interesting people, you remind me that I do have a brain, and I can remember how to use it. Guess that goes back to that fighting ignorance thing …

Well, since they’re at it, I’ll join in. I’m a newbie too, but I’ve been having lunch at work with all of you regulars for a bit. (that’s a little creepy, isn’t it?) And I must say, although I thouroughly enjoy the venemous lashings handed out in the pit, I think I’ll try to steer clear of it. At least until I have something good and offensive yo say. (sorry for all the typos, I have a cat on my lap. She especially loves dog-bashing remarks, so if you see any of those from me, I’m just relaying a message.)
