We put Wild Turkey 101 in ours, just cuz it’s what we happened to have on hand (I’m glad we didn’t just have Creme de Menthe or something on hand:eek: )

Bramdy? Well, alcohol fortified eggnog can lead to some interesting experiences. My mother was drinking eggnog late one Christmas Eve many years ago when she heard someone outside yell “Ho ho ho!” She looked out the window and there was Santa walking down the sidewalk with his bag of toys. At that point she decided to put the eggnog away and go to bed.
My parents always made it with rum and bourbon.
Oh, made it. I see now. I had a picture of your parents making out with rum and bourbon, and I did wonder why you felt a need to share that information with us.

I put rum in mine. However, I followed a new recipe…never, ever, ever again. The eggnog was so tasteless that all I could taste was the rum. Not that the taste of rum is a bad thing, but I wanted eggnog! If I had wanted the taste of rum, I would have just drunk the rum! grrrrr
I drink the bourbon before anyone can put it into the eggnog.

And kambuckta… Thanks for sharing that image with me. Geesh. Of course I’m aware that my parents aren’t models of chastity (don’t need to relive that thread), but the two of them drunkenly fumbling at each other is something I’d have preferred not to consider.
