Now any newer poster reading this thread has given it thought and knows that it is your real world name.
Ambi’s posts don’t stand out in my mind and I’m too lazy to check to see what kind of poster he is.
Regardless, I’m going to disagree pretty damn strongly at those who argue that using his real life name is fair because he once outed himself. People have a right to be forgotten or to be anonymous if they want to be. People have a right to change their minds. Sure, this is the Internet, and this might not have been the wisest choice to make to reveal his real life name or identity. Doesn’t matter. He doesn’t want to be identified NOW, and we should pledge not to. I see that the poster in question apologized, which was the right thing to do.

I’ve never known Polanski to be a cause célèbre among liberals. He is one for certain segments of Hollywood, many of whom happen to be liberal. But not liberals in general.
