Still no telling if it might turn east, pravnik. I’d put my money on Louisiana between Lake Charles and Lafayette. Hopefully, Baton Rouge won’t catch the leading edge of it like we did with Andrew.
Everyone stock up on vienna sausage or potted meat. My theory is that these products are hurricane kryptonite. The hurricane senses their presence and moves elsewhere… because of their unholy near-meat status.
And I’m slightly disappointed that this thread wasn’t about a Dopefest in New Orleans or similar. 
It just got updated and doesn’t look like much of a eastern turn is going to happen. Of interest is how much they are forecasting her to slow down. That would suck for you guys to have a monster storm just sit off the coast and dump rain on ya for days.
Hell’s bells… I was just coming in here to amend that statement. I thought from the link you posted that it was already in the Gulf. It looks like it’s going to cross the Yucatan at this point.
We really DO NOT NEED Claudette to pay a call. We’re still trying to dry out from Bill last week. Getting 2+ inches of rain EVERY SINGLE DAY since he left has not helped.
