That occured to me as well! I figured I had missed some rule violation that accounted for the locking, but I quite enjoy a well-crafted parody post. I particularly liked that one for it’s clever pursuit of a cheese sandwich in Cafe Society. But then, it has always been said that I have bad taste in puns.

I was just wondering that myself. I thought joke threads were a no-no, but parody threads are allowed as long as they include links to the threads that inspire them.

It’s sort of ironic, because it was pretty much because of Liberal’s unlinked (but savagely dead-on) parody threads that that rule was instituted in the first place.
