Just because Zenster didn’t acknowledge it there doesn’t mean you should start up a new thread for it.

Now, I agree that he acted like an ass, and in light of what happened he’s the last person who should be starting a “You’re a moron if you don’t proofread” thread, but continuing to bring this up is making you look bad.

Others have read the thread. They know what happened. Let it go.

It was never about who got to say if it was mod or admin. He said “If I were a mod… I would ban you” and then I said “Only admins can ban”. Then he makes it sound like he said something comepletely different.
The problem I have is, he says mod and it’s admin, I say it and then he makes a big deal like I’m some sort of moron.

iampunha: Yes. After him being told he made a mistake. Correcting spelling mistakes is very childish. All I was doing was telling him “Mods can’t ban, only admins can’t.” Essentially getting rid of some of his ignorance, by telling him that. He decided to follow up by being an asshole. And after that he dared to bitch about people who didn’t proofread and spellcheck, and ran way because we “had no life” because we corrected his spelling and grammar mistakes

I wish to have an explanation of some sort how he thinks we should have to put up with such an assholish attitude.

I did not know that.
At every other board I’ve been to, it’s only admins that could ban users. I thought it was the same here, becuase I’d only read administrators here saying they banned someone.

Well, actually, I was able to read the OP in its original state, and felt there was a valid complaint there. So when some people said that it was hard to follow the OP because of the lack of quote tags, I figured I would do a good turn and add them so that this complaint could reach a wider audience. Or something. Mostly I was just bored.

Yeah, I think he’s got a valid complaint. Thing is though, he’s already made it in two other threads—the one in which the offense occured and Zenster’s spelling thread. Is it really worth yet another thread?

If it had been me, I’d have been satisfied with simply saying “Fuck you, asshole” to Zenster in the original thread. This just makes Aslan look like a crybaby. IMHO, anyway.
