About me: 27 years of age, living in Stockholm, Sweden. I work as a “computer room engineer”, I think they call it, though I’m not really an engineer at all!

:smack: You know I should have remembered that. I read the book when it was new and I believe that it was the inspiration for naming the game engine.

Well. Suppose it doesnt really mean anything, to be honest. I started using it while playing computer games a few years back, and it kind of stuck. Simple as that.
How do I pronounce it? -With difficulty. Usually its abbreviated into Etum, which is a bit easier, though still not very obvious how to pronounce…
It’s not backwards. It’s my username, and its not my fault that it spells Wintermute backwards!
