Given Clinton’s hawkish record, I don’t think there was ever a chance she’d vote against the war. It’s hard to get inside her head, but it does seem that she has a real mad-on for the world’s slimiest bastards. I’m not sure where that hate comes from, but it’s admirable.

Imma going to take her vote at face value. She voted with congress and foreign policy minds like Joe Biden to go to war if Hans Blix found WMDs.

The Bush Administration who promised they would wait for the results, more than likely got wind that when it was taking too long, would probably be negative on the weapons, so they trashed the UN and went in without weapons inspection results, and the rest, is history.

If incompetence means that she used the same standard for those bastard neo-cons that she would apply in good faith in terms of their word being their honor, then that’s what she has to carry around.

I don’t work in Congress, so I don’t know what it’s like to have a co-worker look you in the eyes and just lie to you. It must not feel good, especially when you wanted to do the very best for your constituents in New York who died at the hands of terrorism. It must be sickening to have the taint of that lie stained on you forever.
