That’s the way it’s done in politics. Just because it didn’t resonate with you, doesn’t mean the Archie Bunkers didn’t sit up and take notice. Agree. The knots some people twist themselves into, and the ‘humor’ as a way of putting their fingers in their ears and singing la-la-la-la. It’s really something.
If she’d announced she was ill when she found out, the ‘usual suspects’ would have exploded in glee. But as you say, the MSM would not have a several day 24hr story about her covering it up. That aspect is really pretty simple IMO. She took a calculated risk, influenced by her obsessive tendency to keep things hidden (even Axelrod pointed out that obvious flaw of hers), that it would clear up fast enough to not have to disclose it at all. She lost, that bet.
And there’s the illness itself. It doesn’t mean the person is a lot less likely to be able to carry out the duties of Pres the next 4/8 yrs, but it is knocking her off the trail coming into the climatic phase of the election, and it’s an unknown whether it will slow her down or its effects be in any visible say by the time of the debates. It’s not ‘routine’ to get pneumonia in a situation where you’d be better off (professionally) working your butt off night and day, just isn’t. It’s a setback, even w/o creating a cover up story.
And Democrats complaining about the media, overall, that’s really loser stuff IMHO. It’s bad enough when Republicans do it, but at least there’s the fact that the large majority of reporters at non-Fox TV and major papers are Democratic votes (‘trying to be fair’). OTOH Republicans know this going in and it’s still loser stuff for them to complain about it tactically, but more ridiculous when Democrats do. The media likes a scandal. Everybody knows it going in.

I’ve seen the video. You see what you want to see. If you zoom 10x on any iPhone video, you can see all kinds of artifacts. Maybe something fell out, maybe it is nothing. Maybe it was metal. Maybe it wasn’t. The only reason you care or even know of the video is Alex Jones.
