Yeah it comes from a biased book, but this is interesting information if true.
I don’t know much about Ed Klein, but apparently he has a history of making shit up. So maybe this is all bullshit.
This sounds a lot like the Dr. Who “Don’t you think she looks tired?” technique.
And I’m not a doctor, but I doubt “a series of strokes” is something you can hide. As for the rest, headaches and insomnia in someone going through the stress of a Presidential campaign? What a shock that would be.
This book, like his last several books attacking Democrats, comes from Regnery Publishing, which is to books what that smelly stuff you scrape off the bottom of your shoe is to food.
Is that ad hominem? Well, after reading the Wiki page on Ed Klein people might also want to read the page on Regnery.
When and if Regnery or Klein write anything that can be cited by independents you can tell me how wrong I am.
Hillary fell in December 2012, causing a concussion which affected the vision in her right eye. You may recall those photos of her wearing corrective glasses.
So maybe she still has a little eyestrain, and maybe once in awhile it causes a headache. But strokes? This is a woman in the public eye 24/7. If she’s had a “series of strokes” it would be obvious to a lot more people than Ed Klein.
And of course Presidents like FDR and JFK never had health problems.
If Hillary had really had a series of strokes recently, it would be pretty big news. Probably not reported amongst a bunch of minor ailments that pretty much every candidate suffers from (I imagine given the amount of travel that every Presidential candidate has a pretty fucked up sleep schedule, and “nearly swooning” is not exactly a death sentence.)
Not to mention the hob that constant changes in pressure associated with the amount of flying that a Presidential candidate does plays with ones sinuses, disposition, etc.

If Hillary Clinton is too sick to run for President, then what is it she’s been doing these last few months? You have to admit she’s certainly doing an uncanny impression of somebody who’s running for President.
Could she have some health problems that force her out of the race? Sure, she could. It can happen to anyone, especially someone of her age. Has it happened yet? No. How can we tell? Because she’s still in the race.
Is Karl Rove still claiming she’s had atraumatic brain injury?
IIRC, this is the same guy who claims Hillary Clinton is a lesbian who only had Chelsea because Bill raped her.
I’d take anything he says about the Clintons with a molecule of NaCl.

Entertaining in a way, though. The most amusing part is getting exactly the same stuff from both the Republican talking heads *and *the Sanders camp.
I’m a Sanders supporter but have no problem with Hillary as president. She isn’t my first choice but she would be decent and better than the alternative.
The fact that Biden seems to suddenly be interested in running makes me wonder if this is some secret attempt by the DNC to create a backup in case Hillary is too sick to run since the DNC doesn’t want Sanders as the candidate.
I think the Demos would do good to have a plan B for the nomination. Should Hilary win that, then a good choice for a healthy VP.
