If you would reread my posts, you will see I never made such a claim. Therefore, I have no argument to support. I did not say she lied about being sick. In fact, I said hiding something isn’t really lying. My case with respect to her lying is for all the other lies she’s told, and there are many, albeit, not as many as the Trumpster. So, I left with choosing the lesser liar to vote for.
The “confusion” happened because you jumped in to reply for doorhinge who did say Clinton lied about having pneumonia. In post 608, which you began with a quote about her pneumonia.
It’s there because people post random shit on websites like 4Chan, one of which was a crappy, forgettable webcomic that was nonetheless not forgotten. Somebody posted a picture of a cartoon frog from that webcomic in another context, and other people remembered the frog and reused it. People saw it used, modified it, and posted their own versions, most of which were probably forgotten. Then somebody put Trump’s hair on it, and people remembered the Trump Pepe and reused it. Then Trump’s son saw a silly picture of a Trump frog, remembered it, and put it in his picture making light of Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” line.
You are committing the creationist’s fallacy. You assume that this unlikely combination must be the product of deliberate, sinister design, but only because you don’t see the thousands of permutations over multiple generations that never made it this far.
So here’s the update. On 9-11-16 According to 538’s aggregate analysis Trump had a 29.5% chance of winning. On 9-14-16 a few minutes ago he has risen to 35.8%. Yes I think that is significant especially if the trend continues.

Of course, the media never, ever, asks ol’ Hillary about her health. :rolleyes: Last Friday, ol’ tired Hillary was finally, allegedly, diagnosed as having pneumonia. Shhhhhh, don’t tell the voters. On Saturday, nope, still no word from Team Hillary. On Sunday, ol’ tired, sick, Hillary collapses like a sack of potatoes. Ol’ Hillary is rushed to the 1st rate healthcare facility known as Chelsey’s apartment. Must be an obamacare facility???
After it’s discovered that there is a video of ol’ Hillary collapsing like a sack of potatoes, Team Hillary waits only 90 minutes before deciding that they must admit something to the media/public. SOP. Don’t admit anything. Lie whenever possible. Nobody talks - everybody walks.

Is any of that due to this incident, though? It’s only been three days since this happened. Polls being released over the last couple of days were still mostly taken last week, I think.

We’re not even at the point where the full impact of her health scare is going to be felt – these are the polls that showed the reaction to Hillary’s basket of deplorables comment. The basket of deplorables comment convinced independent voters (in their eyes) that she’s an elitist bitch. The images of her being carried into her van like the corpse in Weekend at Bernie’s proved a conspiracy theory correct – in addition to reinforcing the perception that she’s hiding the truth about herself. The polls won’t tell the full picture until probably Friday or perhaps Monday.

Look, you really got to relax. You clearly don’t understand polls. First off, he was already +1 in a Nevada poll from last week, +2 in a poll from this week that only partially overlaps the pneumonia incident. Similarly in Florida he had +3 in one poll and now a +4 in another that was completed on the 12th. In both states the aggregate is within a point.
I trust Nate Silver’s analysis far, far more than yours. Why on earth would I accept yours over his?

That’s not how 538 works. It looks at many different polls from all states. It also takes into account how accurate the individual polls have been. They keep up just fine. A few polls swinging one way will move their indicator but not have a that a dramatic change.

You really have to wonder about this candidate. It’s just stunning that she has not been able to put Trump away. How can the Democrats have put up someone as bad as she has been?
Joe “foot in mouth” Biden would have absolutely buried Trump by now. And I have to believe Bernie would at least be in solid shape. But no, the DNC scuttled Bernie in order to give us this crap show.
