Hit a cyclist. Brag about it in your tweet.

I really have no words this time.

Woman Brags about hitting cyclist, Discovers Police also use Twitter.

All aspects of this disgust me, except for the decent and effective police action. In the US the police would be more worried about ruining her day.

The stupid is strong with this woman. Makes life a lot easier for the prosecutor.

:dubious: This came out of nowhere.

Not for me it didn’t. I had a friend who was struck by a woman running a red light. Police at the station later on told him not to file a report as it would ‘ruin her day’. He was supposed to just suck up a $400 bike repair.

Oh ok. Now you have a point.

The Norwich police rock!

Good thing we all keep a backup of Mr. Miskatonic memories and experiences, otherwise that might not have sense to some of us.

This could also be a bad day for whoever has been collecting her road tax up to this point.

Care to explain those rolleyes? You think US police would even care about this woman hitting a cyclist?

Bullshit.

I wanna hear the rest of the story.

Did he file the report anyway, and just let the cops arrest him for disobeying their order to not file?

Here, why don’t you watch the incident and then read the description. Now can we get off this threaddrift?

His description proves nothing. The video won’t let me fast-forward to see if there is footage of the police refusing to take a statement. The accident happened, I’m disputing the victim’s unsubstantiated claims.

Edit : The Vimeo page says the video is 10:55, but I downloaded it, and only got 10 seconds. I guess it’s only ten seconds.

So you are calling him a liar. He made the whole post-accident events up out of whole cloth. Gotcha.

Something like that, yes. Perhaps he exaggerated.

Oh my god, she is an idiotic fucking bitch.

You’re calling him a liar. For no given reason. Gotcha.

Yes, you got me.

You’re looking at one isolated incident and applying it to everyone in a huge country. For no given reason. Gotcha.

Quick math lesson for you: 1 != tens of thousands.
