Holy crap! It's snowing!

At noon the temperature was 68 degrees.

At 2:00 p.m. it was 60 degrees.

One hour, forty-five minutes later it’s snowing.

Life in the Midwest!

Here in Kansas City, it was 55 degrees F when I got up at 5:20 AM. By 8:30 we’d dropped 20 degrees, an hour later down to 25, an hour after THAT it was 15 and snowing hard.

Now it’s sunny and 20.

It started snowing last night in Vancouver, we have about a foot of it.

You can tell, because the entire city is completely crippled. Snow is our kryptonite.

Ooh, just this moment, as I was typing this, I received e-mail that our office is closing at 3:30… because it snowed.

Very West Coast.

Seriously! This morning it was 62. Now it’s 39, snowing, windy, foggy and there’s a tornado watch!

I think we’ve warmed up about three degrees to -30C or so.

I heard there was snow on top of Haleakala today as well, as well as possibly snow on the Big Island. However, Haleakala was closed due to icy conditions. If it hadn’t been closed, I bet my auntie and her family would have been up there in a heartbeat and even dragged me along. Would have been awesome fun.

We’ve dropped about 50ºF in the last 30 hours, and will go down about another 10.10 miles south of my house, they closed the interstate due to blizzard conditions.

I knew I should have taken yesterday off, due to good weather.

If it’s the same storm, it went by me the night before last, dropping a foot of snow where I am and more up higher. Enjoy!

No tornado watch that I know of … this time. Nice to know I’m sharing the crazy cold front today.

We had a temperature hovering in the mid minus 30s celsius today with a windchild at minus 50 celsius. Yes, it is cold enough for me.

+5C and wet here. We’re supposed to get ferocious winds and a dropping temperature tonight, though:

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a “flash freeze warning” before.

Heard on the radio STL set a record high today of 71.

Most definitely was snowing by 3 or 4 pm.

Living here drives me crazy.
