How's the weather out there?

Where are you and what’s it like out your door today?

I’m at my office in Bethesda, Maryland and it’s gray and drizzly. Supposed to get cold later as the blizzard passes by north of here, but no snow on the horizon for us.

37 degrees and wet.
Pouring down wet, and I’m thankful for those 5 little degrees that turn white to wet.

I’m in southern Maine, and it’s snowing. Has been for hours. I brought in a ton of firewood, the horses are blanketed, the chickens are secure in their coop, and the dogs are on the sofa as usual. Bring it on.

It just started snowing fairly heavily, and I am sitting, seething, in my office, waiting for someone with a clue to figure out that accounting isn’t a life and death sort of job. Some of the more recent projections are saying we could get as much as three feet in Hartford, which would smash all of the records. We’ll see if we actually get that much.

Woke up, went out into the kitchen. My flatmate says, look out the window. I look: a white blur. I go back into my room and get my glasses. Still a white blur, but I see several cars and a bus go by. I check the college website. All is operating as normal.

So here I am, at work. And class later. It’s milder than it was, but snowing quite heavily.

NJ, its snowing. CNN is now saying this storm is in the “Sandy path”. :smack:

A lot of alerts were sent in-house last night to employees reminding them to make sure their tanks were filled with gas before they got home last night.

Just north of Baltimore.

Cold and drizzly. I’d much rather have snow- at least snow is pretty and (usually) dry.

NW Burbs of Chicago. Heart attack snow out there. Trying to send myself a pic from my phone so I can show ya.

Chilly; it’s 57 degrees and only going up to the mid-seventies today.

Philly – it’s raining, and not all that heavily. We’re supposed to be south of the worst of it, though the rain will probably turn to snow this evening.

Snow started. Projecting from the increasing numbers for the coming storm, there will be 200 feet of snow and 6000 mile per hour wind gusts. I suppose I ought to look for the shovel.

Cold and very snowy.

Upper 70’s. High of 81 and 10% chance of rain.

CT, and it’s snowing…

Here in Raleigh it’s 48 degrees and cloudy. It’s supposed to get up to a high of 58 today.

It’s 44 right now across town in Chapel Hill, and the sun is coming out after overcast and rain yesterday and early this morning.

Mid Eastern CT. 29 light snow
About 1 inch so far

Sunny and 38 degrees at 8:30 am in Sacramento.

Good luck and warm thoughts to everyone out there in the snow. Hope you get to have some fun out of it.

It’s snowing. And it snowed yesterday, and it’ll snow tomorrow. 'round here, snow doesn’t get any press.
