This is not an Onion news item. Justin Bieber visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam this weekend, and signed the museum’s guestbook before he left. The note he left must be seen to be beliebed: “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

What Lennon said was not dumb; it was accurate. If Lennon had said “Jesus would have dug our sound,” it would be comparable to JB’s comment. As far as JB, I’m sickened that so many people are so focused on an immature, naive, ignorant 19 y/o. To extend the Jesus metaphor, you’d think JB was born in a manger, the way some of his fans go on.
