Anyone know the name of that one restaurant that advertises it’s superior food because it’s Italian, and it’s “one heck of a… bar” because the bar is Irish? I went there once with some guys, the food’s pretty good. We mostly ordered the pizza :p, which tasted nice but too big. Then we mostly ordered the chocolate cake for dessert :p. Good cake.

replacing the {s with [ and putting the postid in for the XXXXXXX. To get the postid, go to the post you want to link and hit the quote button. When the reply window comes up, the end of the URL string will reveal the postid. For example, your post asking how to do this has postid 2816395.

IIRC, that’s Birra Poretti’s, Blackeyes. Great place for a gathering. I used to go there all the time when I lived in Houston. Go to the one on West Gray. I would suggest it myself if I still lived in Houston. Or that brew pub/bar in the village with a dog’s name or something like that (rottweiler’s? raskalnikov’s?rothchilde’s?)–great selection of beers, inside and outside venues, and good range of types of people.

The Gingerbread Man is my “Cheers”. I’ve made a New Year’s resolution not to spend more than 3 nights a week there. And only weekends. So the Gingerbread Man (or G-man to the hep crowd regulars) is always fine with me, but two probs-they only serve beer/wine (albeit many kinds) and only snacky kind of food. For a restaurant/brewpub, Two Rows across the street would prolly be better.
Even better, Lord Jim! Do come down, please - I admit have a coding issue - but it’s probably terminal and thankfully won’t affect my DopeFest ability.
