As most of you know, I’m the martial arts choreographer as well as an actor in a film being shot here in Houston. We have wrapped and are in post-production.

Don’t know yet. It’s still in post-production, so Ebert and his buddy haven’t seen it yet. Come to the premiere and vote on it for yourself. We’re looking for two thumbs up in categories like: Best Cheezy Martial Arts Comedy Flick, Best Underdog-Beats-The-Man Flick, etc. 
HELL YES, I’ll be there! I’ve been waiting for a chance to bump into fellow Dopers from the fourth largest city in America. You wouldn’t thik it’d be that hard…
I’ve never been to a premiere before…It sounds fun, Clothahump! I’ll be there.
BTW, the Alamo is the one over at Highway 6 and Westheimer, right?

Ooh, looks interesting! I’l second the never-been-to-a-premier-before, and I will admit a soft spot for cheezy martial arts flicks. Too bad Im not 21 yet, I’l be the only teetotaler in the theatre!

As for a Dopefest aftermath, we’ll have to play it by ear.

An update. I was advised by the director today that we have had to reschedule the date to Thursday, January 25, 2007, due to circumstances beyond our control.
This is getting a little old, but there’s nothing we can do about it.

The director has announced that the premiere date of 01/25/2007 is going to slip because of post-production problems that have been encountered. He has indicated that a new date will not be set until he is absolutely positive that it is a date that will NOT slip again. Keep watching for updates.
