House 2/27 Love is Blind

My DVR says the episode should run on USA on 3/9. That’s still nine days away, so things could change between now and then. But I scheduled the recording. And added three extra minutes to the stop time just so the ending doesn’t get cut off. Just a reminder, it does happen, so dont forget to account for some extra time. I’ll also keep an eye on my cable’s On Demand menu in case it gets listed there.

Yeah, right. Canada. That’s the ticket.

I’m in Prague, and saw it through PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE circumstances.

Yea, my TIVO says the same thing and I’ve scheduled it. I’m skeptical though that it will actually run. I suspect USA has some kind of “second run rights” and won’t be able to air it until after Fox does.

Well, I just checked, and USA has switched it for a repeat episode from 2011. So, you’re probably right. It won’t air anywhere else until it has run first on Fox.

A. House is smart.
B. House knows his mother.
C. House knows he can’t trust his mother. Cf. he already knew his father wasn’t his biological father.

And somehow he didn’t see it* coming. I saw it coming. Sheesh.

*“It” in spoilers:

That Mom was faking the cancer thing so House’d show up.

As to paternity:
So, Billy Connolly ain’t the guy. Then what about the birthmarks? That would suggest a very close relative to Connolly, but then the DNA test would have detected someone at the level of a brother.

I don’t like it when something is presented as “certain” but then ignored when it turns out wrong. You have to explain it some way.

Note how House’s paternity quest is turning into a “Oh, it’s this, no, it’s this, no it’s this other thing.” just like a House episode, but more spread out.
Fox’s NASCAR coverage about doubled its typical House/Alcatraz numbers and thus led the network to a rare Monday win on both counts. It averaged a 4.5 adults 18-49 rating and 11 share from 8 to 11 p.m., according to Nielsen overnights, just ahead of NBC’s 4.4/11. But the Daytona 500 was not the night’s top show. That honor once again went to NBC’s “The Voice,” which averaged a 5.4 from 8 to 10 p.m., down 7 percent from the previous week but once again dominating its timeslot.

Well, I did some Googling and Fox will run “Love Is Blind” on March 19 at its normal time. It’s pre-empted on March 5 by an episode of Alcatraz, and March 12’s episode is a rerun, but we in the US will get to see it on the third Monday from now.

And, I am giving this one a bump since Fox is finally airing this one tonight for those of us living in the U.S.A.

Thanks for letting us know. I recorded the one on USA not knowing it had changed. I watched almost all of it before I realized that I had seen it before. I was wondering why Cuddy was back. I’ll make sure my DVR catches it tonight as I don’t think it’s supposed to.

It gets weird when the girl, I don’t know her name… the young one, was tripping out. Eh, if it was meant to be funny it wasn’t for me. It just seemed out of place.

Park. I don’t recall her first name.

Some of the stuff she was saying at times was funny, but the images of the different characters as rabbits and such kind of fell flat.

Looks like the remaining season arc will deal with House himself having some major medical malady.

Will he survive?

Want to place bets?

I don’t know if that is true, but speculating here …

Suppose House needs a transplant of some sort (e.g., bone marrow), a candidate would be his new “father”. But House would tell them not to bother testing “Dad” for a match, etc. Drama ensues.

That’s how a bad medical show would do it. House in previous years would not do something so trite. I’m not so sure anymore.

yeah, nobody really does “drug trips” well. especially tv.

Given his vicodin addiction, it’ll probably be his liver. Bonus points for adding this dialogue:

Other Doctor: You’ve got a jaundiced eye.

House: No, I’m just realistic(or something more cynical expressing the same sentiment)

OD: No, I mean your actual eye. It’s jaundiced.

Don’t forget to tip your veal.

I really really want it to be lupus.

I, for one, am hoping for a nice cheesy happy ending to the series. Let House resolve his demons by finding his dad; and it ultimately being a good thing; and house and his wife really fall in love.

If you have to end the series on a wacky note; let it be something cool like Wilson’s dad is also House’s dad; and Wilson and House are half brothers.

Still haven’t seen the episode (forget to manually set the DVR to record it) but have you seen Fear and Loathing. The first time I saw the carpet do this I looked over at the person I was with and said "that’s exactly what it’s like.

It’s not online somewhere is it? Fox’s website doesn’t have it up until 8 days after it airs which, from what I gather means they won’t air this episode until the 27th even though the rest of the world got to see it two weeks ago.

i’ve seen fear and loathing, but i guess i should have acknowledged it before making a sweeping generalization. change it to “not a lot of people do drug trips well, especially on TV”
