Might this be postponed because the Daytona 500 is on tonight?
Right now, the plan is to postpone it, which brings up the question of when do they air it, since House is supposed to start a month-long hiatus followed by what I assume is a run of new episodes until its finale.
(My guess: they’ll air it next Monday, in place of one of the two Alcatraz episodes they have planned, and then push the Alcatraz schedule back a week, even if it means airing the season finale on Memorial Day or even June 4.)
One thing does worry me: Fox has been known to air shows during NASCAR rain delays, although these tend to be shows that are scheduled to air after the race. Still, if it starts to rain at Daytona (and the radar at 5 PM showed a small rain cell headed in Daytona’s direction), they might decide to air that scheduled episode of House after all.
No House. Just a bunch of cars going in a circle. Is this really more popular?

I think House was shown last night in Canada, or it’s online somewhere. There’s talk about the episode on the IMDB boards, which I avoided reading. (Other than to check to see if it WAS pre-empted and not just my TV, lol.)
Apparently it did air in Canada as it is available to download by the means which everyone knows but we can’t talk about here.

My TIVO says that the episode is being shown 3/9 at 4:00 PM on FOX. I have no idea if that’s still correct or not. They may replace it with a video of paint drying or something.

I liked Mom’s tricks (the hospital wristband and the cancer book) to get Wilson to tell House he had to go and see her. Classic House-style maneuvering. I guess he gets it from her.
