And I think House is hot but he did look a little ragged as the smooth young Cameron made her move. “You kissed me back.” “i just didn’t want you to die without knowing how that felt.”
And yes, there’s a wait, but nine new episodes in a row?! SQUEEE!
THANK YOU! I spent half the episode going, “where do I know that guy from???” I thought Dave Matthews did a great job acting. Another vote for the House-Cameron kiss being oogy, but the House-Cuddy grope was okay, I think because they’re peers and roughly the same age. I hate when shows have the middle-aged guy dating the sexy 22 year old.
I think Cameron’s kiss was oogy because she and Hugh Laurie have zero chemistry. IMO, there were more sparks with the chick in the wheelchair and wish they’d bring her back.
And, of course he’s got great chemistry with Lisa whatshername (Cuddy).
Fun episode, I watched it in rushed fashion as I got ready for an early day. I needed my start of acerbic humor to get going.
Here’s what I read: House was doing this as a personal project. I don’t think he was getting high. What I saw on his face was frustration that that is what everyone immediately jumped too. But being who he is, he didn’t want to sit them down and explain it to them - he doesn’t care what they think, the writers have spent 3 seasons pounding that into our skulls.
So since he doesn’t care what they think, and he doesn’t care to explain to them, and is probably a bit pissed off at them for ignoring Patrick’s case, he just let it be and left.
I found Wilson’s diatribe interesting. I’m not sure I buy it though.
WTF? There was just a ad for House being on Friday at 8. It doesn’t look like a rerun either. (unless I missed an episode where he ask someone off-screen if they love him) You think they’d of mentioned this last night!
The characters are such a bad match, too. I think he nailed it in the first season during that whole date debacle. She’s only interested in him because he’s “broken”. Her interest in him seemed to die off completely for the short time he was pain free.
On the other hand, maybe we should hope they get together. There is only so long House is going to put up with Holly Hobbie, he’ll end up murdering her. I think that’s our only chance of getting rid of her.
So what was with the highly-abbreviated (1 second or so) opening credits? Did they just decide they needed more screen time? I certainly wouldn’t object to that, although I rather liked the theme music.
