Lotta face acting in this episode. And Harrenhal was giving such Dark Souls vibes I expected Daemon to walk into that dinner and do a little roll.
I’m loving season 2 so far. And I loved Harrenhal’s melted look in ep 3.
I’m also damned glad that the whole ‘House of the Dragon’ story already has a coherent ending written by GRRM.
Ah so there’s the graphic sex we were missing since GoT. (I’m honestly surprised they were able to show what they did.)
Fantastic face acting in the last scene.
I need to be more diligent in my social media habits about this show. Hints at spoilers on twitter. Nothing super concrete, but I’ve forgotten most everything about this time period and it’s refreshing to be mostly blind vs knowing everything about the first 4 seasons of GoT.
My favorite line in this episode:
“It’s a big chair. Made of swords.”
Pretty sure that was a prosthesis, not an actual dick. Something just looked wrong about it to me.
Matt Smith was channeling Leslie Nielsen.
That was great.
I see that Dyana (the servant who was raped by Aegon last season) is now a barmaid at the brothel where he hangs out. Poor thing.
I wonder if those eggs, or three of them, are the ones that will be given to Daenarys? They are being sent to Pentos for safekeeping for the future. They are the right colors. Maybe the fourth blue one will hatch and become Rhaena’s.
And still has to put up with unwanted touches from men. I felt so bad for her, she even had to serve Aegon. Those were Dany’s eggs. Not supposed to be, but they were.
