I didn’t much like it. Some of the b-plot with the team was interesting and amusing, but overall it did not enthrall me. Looking forward to next week’s though.
LOVED it, I thought it was very well done. I liked the semi-comic overtones throughout the show, and House waffling and wavering. It should be interesting to see a happy House, for a while at least.
Olivia Wilde’s name is in the credits now. she is making a movie and will be off for a few episodes, but she is now a regular cast member.
I was trying to figure out what organs were assigned to them. PJ’s looked like some sort of wispy sponge, and 13’s looked like an egg being fertilized. But I’m not sure about either of those.
Would someone refresh my memory about last season’s last episode? I don’t remember any of the stuff alluded to in this new episode. She dumped the detective? There was some kind of tragic patient death? That House *gave *a shit about?
Very dramatic episode. A crane collapse demolished a building, Cuddy and House on site with the rescuers. House found a woman trapped underground, her leg crushed, leg had to be amputated but she still died. (this reverberated with House because of the problems with his leg). He went home, smashed bathroom mirror to get to the hidey-hole where he stashed Vicodin. Cuddy showed up, said she broke up with Lucas, said she loved House.
Last night’s episode picked up directly from that.
Not enough Wilson. He should have stayed stuck in the kitchen window for about half an hour providing Greek chorus while House and Cuddy Did It in the bedroom. The hallucinating neurosurgeon was funny – but they’ve conveniently forgotten that Foreman has performed numerous neurosurgeries in the past. And somebody tell me that bottle of Old Spice was a gift because surely House would never buy that for himself.
