Still around 2.90 to 3.10 near Augusta, Ga.
I noticed the cheap place off the freeway was $4.299 this morning. I haven’t been there in a while. I only refuel once a week, and I’ve been going to Costco.
In the Galveston/Houston area prices over the last month went up to about $3.25 and then gradually came back down. The Exxon near me(usually one of the cheapest) is now at $2.92. In Rockport (just north of Corpus) last Friday most stations were around $2.82 but I gassed up at a Valero for $2.76.
Also $4.299 as of yesterday, suburban Chicago.
$4.099 in Ferndale, except none of the pumps were working. I had to drive a bit over three miles to their station at the casino.
My wife drives more than I do, since she goes to her patients’ homes. So I gave her my Pilot card so that she can save a few cents.
Filled up at $3.399/gal yesterday evening on the Arlington/Alexandria VA city line.
Top off everyone, OPEC cut output, again.
I refuelled at the Lummi’s 76 station yesterday, and regular was $3.799 per gallon. It was $3.599 when I refuelled there last Monday. Prices through Oregon seemed a little higher than the Lummi’s station, but most places are higher than theirs. California prices were in the $4.50 range. Mostly I refuelled at Pilot (wife has the card, so I couldn’t use it), Loves, or Flying J. I think the highest price I paid was at a station at mile marker 244 on the 5 in California. It was over $5/gallon. I knew I should have refuelled in Anaheim when I started out, but I didn’t feel like making a U-turn and I had about half a tank.
At the moment, it’s $3.33 in my part of Nashville, but over the last several weeks I’ve watched it get down under $3.00 and just a day or two later, jump up by 30 cents. So even though it’s gone down 2 cents in the last few days, I’m not hoping for anything muh.
$3.12.9 at Costco in Augusta, GA.
$3.33 today, a few days ago 3.59
$3.35.9/ gal at the Arlington/Falls Church line in Virginia Saturday.
Today in San Juan PR $0.90.7/liter ($3.42.8/gal)
$3.19 in northern Rhode Island. It’ll be different right across the border in MA but haven’t checked that lately.
They took a good sized jump this week. I filled up at a gas station last Sunday and paid $3.21. I filled up again at the same gas station yesterday and paid $3.49. This was near Niagara Falls, NY.
I guess I should be glad my usual station only went up 20¢ in five days.
I refuelled at the res station Tuesday, and regular gas was $4.299. Today it was down to $4.099. I gassed up at Costco for $3.979 – 12¢ cheaper than the Lummi’s station.
In Canada it’s around US$4.33, which is high, but our dollar is weak.
It was $3.07 at my neighborhood Exxon this morning.
Filled up Friday. $3.29 for regular.
I hope some of you appreciate my work in bringing down the insane price of diesel. I replaced my diesel vehicle with a gasoline version – and right on cue, diesel quickly dropped below the price of 87 octane gas (at least around here). It had been over a dollar more for a long time.
I want to put a picture of me on the diesel pumps, that says: “I did that!”. I think that joke has been played out though.
Around my apartment, it’s $3.43. On my way to the library, I saw some for $3.35.
