I’ve never met a guy who liked Ginger better than MaryAnn. So, how about you guys? Anyone out there who would rather have the movie star?
Ginger is to intimidating for most guys, so she would be either too eager or too standoffish. MaryAnn is more practical, down to earth, and more experienced. Draw your own conclusions.

Guys like to fool themselves that they don’t go for the slut, but subconsciously they realize that Mary Anne was likely a much bigger ho than Ginger. Look at those shorts, for God’s sake.

Hey, what about Mrs. Howell? She must’ve had SOMEthing going for her, to capture one of the world’s richest men!
MaryAnn was obtainable! She was the girl next door that would smile at you every morning while she walked to her car. Ginger was from a world of money, glamour and phony-ness (sp?) If you saw MaryAnn at a dance and asked her onto the floor, she would politely say yes and dance with you. Then retreat back to her friends. You may never dance with her again, but, for the time being, you felt like a king and it was a great ego boost. If you asked Ginger to dance, she’d look at you like you were crazy and then turn to her stuck up friends who would laugh long and loud while you slinked to the other side of the gym. She was better than you and she knows shes better than you. She’s only good enough for the captain of the football time and they get married right after high school and he starts drinking and they have 3 kids and no prospects and they live in a two bedroom apartment and at the high school reunion she saddles up to you like she was your best friend and…sorry, sorry. Geez, this is going to mean therapy years before I planned on it…sorry, everyone. ::clears throat:: I prefer MaryAnn. Thank you.

I’d say drollman nailed it pretty well.
Furthermore, Ginger is obviously high-maintenance. Mary Ann would be a lot more fun. More likely to go on a camping trip with you, more likely to take joy in life’s simple pleasures…PLUS she made a mean coconut cream pie!
