I tried to quote a post that had a quote in it. (It doesn’t make sense without it) But the quote disappeared. Is there some way to do that?
You can.

Well, the above is all I got out of quoting you. So if you are just making fun of me, I don’t find it funny.

Before, if you quoted a post with a quote in it, both quotes would be included. I guess the last software update eliminated that feature. But that doesn’t mean you can’t code it in manually. Like hawthorne said, you just need to copy and paste in the text, and add the quote tags around it.

Ok, I get now what you did, you weren’t really quoting but faking aquote and I missed that part. I’m not up to doing all that with codes though, so paraphrase will just have to do me.

You’re joking, right? Doing all that? It’s only 15 friggin’ key strokes fer Christ’s sake.
Wait 'til you’re asked to provide cites for things, vb. Your head’s going to explode from all that extra work.
Pay no attention to them snotty comments, vb, I understand perfectly. There’s a lot of stuff to remember, and one more complication is a headache that puts me over the top, too.
That’s right, and especially when it used to work and still does work on other boards. It’s like if they took your remote control away from you. Sure it’s only “15 friggin’ key strokes fer Christ’s sake” to change the channel, but I bet you’d do a whole lot less of it!
All of my html I learned from coding posts on bulletin boards, prior to vb here. I remember much of it, since I’ve been using vB and php boards the last couple of years.
