I only occasionally watch ‘Family Guy’, and usually only in late-night reruns. Anyway, I saw an ep. a few days ago that made me nearly wet 'em from laughing so hard.
And here’s just to make sure no spoilers accidentally peak through into the scrollover window: watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope rutabaga rutabaga rutabaga rubarb rubarb rutabaga rutabaga rutabaga rubarb rubarb rutabaga rutabaga rutabaga rubarb rubarb rutabaga rutabaga rutabaga rubarb rubarb cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon cantalope watermelon.
OK, then. The story: Peter takes Lois on a cruise. Meanwhile at home, Stewie is again taking trash about offing his mother. Brian the dog snickers that he’s all talk and no action, if he was really going to kill Lois, he’d have done it by now. Stewie is incensed at this…and inspired to some real action. He navy-SEALs his way to the cruise ship, just atfer Peter & Lois had a huge argument. Cornering Lois alone, Stewie confronts Lois with a submachine gun. In one of the most appallingly tasteless (and therfore funniest) scenes I’ve seen in a long while, Stewie riddles Lois with bullets in slow motion. She falls overboard, plunging into the ocean in the most over-the-top James Cameron hammer-home-the-scene style.
One year later, the Griffith family are still mourning the “unresolved” murder of Lois. The police realize that Peter took out an exorbitant insurance policy on Lois the very day that she was killed (by ‘persons unknown.’) Peter ends up on trial for murder, is sentenced and being led away when all of a sudden…Lois bursts into the courtroom! “OMG, Mom!” Meg exclaims “You’re alive!”
“Honey,” Peter says. “Do you remember who really try to kill you?”
“Yes I do!” Lois angrily cries. “It. was. STEWIE!!!” Dunn-dunn-dunn-DAAAAAAAHHH !!!
Fade out with a big “To be continued” emblazoned across the screen.
F***ing hilarious. But then I didn’t get to see the Part 2. How did it get resolved? I’m sure somebody here must know.
