I used to see an icon for ad-block and Google mail checker at the top right of my web browser. It was the red envelope looking thing for gmail and I could see how many messages I had.
Now it’s gone. To the right of the address bar there is a double arrow. If I click on it I get a drop down with all my extensions, but I want it as it was. I’ve right clicked all over the place, gone into tools, settings etc. and cant find how to restore it. Anyone know?
I have the same problem and was wondering the same thing.
It is particularly bothersome because I can’t see at a glance anymore if I have new stuff to read in my rss feed, since the icon is now hidden unless I click on the arrow displaying all icons.
Click on the right edge of your address bar, where you get the horizontal resize cursor (it looks like this <–> ) and try resizing the address bar. Quite likely the address bar has been moved so it blocks all the extension buttons.
If that doesn’t do it, your buttons are probably set to hidden. Go to your extensions (chrome://extensions) and click “Show Button” under the extensions you want to see.
