Post so damn much that is.
Some of you guys with your gazzilion post counts…
How do you manage it? Reaallly boring jobs? Lotta free time at home? I’m a work poster mostly (when I can get the time) and sometimes right before bedtime. I suspect a lot of people spend their lunches at the ole message board. How about you?
Summer vacation from skool, no job. I’m here all day every day. But I start at college tomorrow (No classes on Tuesdays, and only 1 on Thursdays, though, so I’ll still have plenty o’ time to post)
I only work three and a half nights a week. I have lots of free time; why waste it going out of doors and being productive? I’d rather sit in front of the computer! 
I went out today and all I have to show for it is an empty wallet and blisters on my feet!
I’ve got lots of free time. Usually, I’m not just on the boards, I’m either IMing with my friends, talking on the phone or working at the same time. I’ve noticed the boards get really busy around the time people are arriving and taking their lunches on weekdays. Personally, I like the boards best when I’m having my morning coffee and only the serious night owls and Europeans are on.
Really really boring old job.
Plus, I’m a night owl.
And now, I’m off for two weeks until I start the new job.
However…then I’ll be posting only during my lunch hour. sob I’ll miss you all!
I had tons of free time this summer. I also got into the extremely bad habit of staying online from 8pm to about 4am, getting only 4 hours of sleep sometimes. Most of that time I spent on the boards. I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep it up now that classes and work have started up again for me, but I’m determined to make time for this.
Also, I have my own computer, and it’s in my room, so I can post whenever I want.
You want to elevate that post count? Find someone to flirt with. 
I broke 1,000 this weekend, and I only started to post on a regular basis in June.

Ditto here. A very boring job and staying up until 6 am leaves me lots of time to be here. But once school starts next week, you’ll be seeing much less of me. (And there was much rejoicing.)
Before whatever I posted tonight I searched and saw that I had 54 posts in the last ten days - that’s only 5.4/day. Well, really, that’s 54 threads to which I’ve posted that have been active in the last ten days. So the per day figure for me is, if anything, lower.
That doesn’t seem like that much, especially if you consider that only a quarter of my posts were in GQ or GD, the rest were in ATMB (6) or the fluffvilles of IMHO and MPSIMS, where little effort is required (well, OK, I had one in the Pit).
Although I can easily, I don’t visit from work - I just don’t have the time there. I’ve peeked in at work when we hit a couple of minutes snag, but I won’t take the time to compose a post from there.
My best/worst stuff pops up randomly in after-midnight threads (when I’m already asleep - who snagged my password?).
Move to LA, and your wallet won’t be so empty (though mine will) and I’ll massage those blisters off your feet (or otherwise find some way to make you forget 'em)

As for the OP, there are three people from my sig on this thread. They may not be HOW I do it, but they’re three big reasons WHY I do it.
I work graveyard at a user help desk. I sit and monitor the system in case something should happen and one of our users has a problem. From midnite to 5 Am, almost nothing happens.
So I post to stay awake.
It’s slow at work right now…
It’s either this or banging my head against the desk, and this is quieter.
