This might sound a little sick and twisted but I like the occasional doper banned, especially with mesquite. Although guava has its appeal too. Operday Flambé. It’s a shame it’s so hard to get.

Thanks to the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, I doubt I shall (legally) end up as anyone’s repast.

A Chinese tart? Well, I’ve been called worse. And as long as you didn’t mean the other kind of tart… y’know, the one that walks on two legs in certain parts of the city. I can live with that. Don’t know if there are actually such things as Chinese tarts, though there must be. There are egg tarts, which have this nice creamy filling, and taste quite good. (and no, I don’t know if I’m like that or not… you’ll just have to come here and see for yourself ;))

All right, to make my own contributions to this delicious thread:

I like my Spoz served with sushi and beer specifically brewed to co-exist with the beer. (hey, it’s what we were discussing late last week) Definitely not with vegemite, though, as that would be reserved to spread over lel on a slice of toast. Crunchy Frog, as his name implies, would be the cereal that actually stays crunchy in milk. italfizzestothetop would make a great accompaniment to Spoz, as she is great champagne.

LifeOnWry would make great bread, while Toaster52 could really toast her but good. TalkingHead would be a great Pho noodle dish, with iampunha, Kal, **[RueDeDay/b], GingeroftheNorth, Guinastasia, handy, and other assorted Dopers serving as the various meat selections in the soup. (tripe, beef, meatballs, chicken. brisket, etc.)

Since no meal wouldn’t realy be complete without some spicy food (preferably hot and sour soup): jackelope, El Elvis Rojo, Hamadryad, ResIpsaLoquitor, Anthracite, and other assorted Dopers will serve as this wonderfully spicy soup. I’d like to have it at least a couple of times a week, if not more.

Alas, Balance, it’s a universal law that I can only be served to women with a twist…

Some of my personal favorites are Beer-Battered-Biggirl, Geobabe baked, not fried, with a hint of sea salts, Bluesman straight from an MRE, and an unopened bottle of 21-year-old iampunha: non-alcoholic but heavy on the preservatives.

As a nightcap I prefer my Superdude distilled to its most potent brashness, as it makes a good time for those watching.

I have absolute faith in your good taste (although I’m still dubious about bubble tea), and your reply was nicely tart. You may take that in whatever light you find complimentary. :slight_smile:

Rue, of course, always has the SoupaDeDay and the KatchaDeDay. I suspect most social workers would take a dim view of him eating them, though…

Balance, don’t forget to wash it all down with a Cosmopolitan, or maybe just some UncleBeer, if you’re not the hoidy-toidy type.

Dubious about bubble tea? How can anyone be dubious about bubble tea? :stuck_out_tongue: Okay, okay… so it might be a foreign concept to you, but trust me, it’s good. (depending on the flavor, though) And thanks for the complimentary bouquet you bestowed on my reply. I do indeed take it in a favorable light. :slight_smile: Who would represent the chewy tapioca pearls in the bubble tea? I have no idea. Perhaps Geobabe, Weirddave, and Francesca, at least for starters.

After doing some more thinking overnight, I have decided that the perfect meal must include some fish, (gotta have some of those omega-3 fatty proteins or whatever fish are good for)

So for some true flair, Barbarian will be the wild B.C. sockeye salmon, nicely sacued and laid out on a platter. Grelby, of course, would be the shark’s fin soup, while White Lightning would be the lobster, and jarbabyj the Dungeness crab. Quite a sumptuous repast, to be sure. (especially if you add in scott evil as sweet ice cream and desserts later… and take my other post in this thread into consideration, as well)
