Yes, there might be some small irregularities in Pennsylvania elections, but I believe forewarned is forearmed. (If the Northwest of the state is known to you “Don’t give up the ship” and all that.) They do start processing and counting the MORNING of Election Day so much further ahead of states that don’t even start until polls are closed. I presume they will be well staffed and get some work done during lulls in the day and continue counting once the polls close so there might be north of 90% tabulated by the time it gets late here in the west – maybe 98 or 99%? If Biden is ahead and all rural areas are counted but more urban areas are still counting, well I might feel pretty comfortable. Even more so if Florida has been called for Biden.
the things that are going on in the pa legislature is the reason i will be voting in person on election day. i am taking no chances. also as i live in a building, the polling place is in the lobby of the building, building residents only; very safe. as some have stated earlier, i would crawl over broken glass, hot coal, whatever, to vote this year.
Thanks for the observations. We’ve been talking about GOP ratfuckery in a bunch of different threads and maybe this isn’t the best one for more of it. But one quick note: Dem congresscritters earned about a half million more votes than their Republican counterparts (one uncontested district) in 2018 and blue intensity levels are ratcheted up another click or three this year. If election officials stay on the ball, all that “stop counting” bullshit is gonna be nothing more than hot air.
I certainly can understand that feeling. Some of my friends are in the same boat. The night after the 2016 election I was on the phone with one of them and he was despondent.
Will be switching between Fox and MSNBC. I love watching Steve Kornacki and his energy and percentage charts, and then will see what the fox people will be saying.

we won’t know the results for a while so I won’t be paying too close attention.
What concerns me is trump may ‘win’ on election night before all the mail in ballots are counted, then he will try to stop the counting of the mail in ballots. more democrats are voting early than Republicans.
I’ll be bouncing around on the different channels getting results. The election for our congressman is supposed to be very close, but probably won’t be known for weeks due to absentee ballots. I’m guessing the same with other local races (like city court judges and stuff).
So I’m guessing I’ll watch the various channels, but who knows? I might just decide to watch a movie depending on how the night unfolds.
