Fried please. Legs and wings. Mashed taties with chicken cream gravy. Roasted corn on the cob, lots of butter. Apple pie, no ice cream. A glass of skim milk. Thank you, I look forward to dinner.
Pan-fried chicken, go ahead and do up the whole thing, I’ll take the breast sections home in a doggie bag after I demolish the dark meat and wings; mashed with pan gravy; corn stewed with okra and tomatoes; apple pie with two scoops of French vanilla; copious amounts of Pilsener beer.
See you next week at my place. The cold snap is supposed to continue, so I’m making a big pot of tripe soup.
Broiled, mashed (skins on, salt, pepper, and only a dash of butter; none of those dairy mountains held together by potato starch that some people prefer), on the cob (boiled, but not over cooked. Make sure there’s still crunch!), apple pie (none of that overly shiny and gelatinous filling; just apples, spices, sugar, maybe citrus, and an eentsy bit of corn starch is fine), and a not-too-oaky and not-too-fruity red wine.
Thanks! It’ll go great after my peanut butter sandwich on stale bread I had for lunch!
Broiled chicken with nice crispy skin
French fries
Corn on the cob, with salt and butter
Warm apple pie with a scoop of ice cream on top
I’d like to have a glass of iced tea (unsweetened with lemon) but as that choice isn’t available I’ll take a Cherry Coke Zero
Fried, baked potato and whole corn, please. I’ll have a beer and pie a la mode also. No problem if you run out of whole corn, I can go with mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Thanks !
I believe he’s saying to stay within the parameters of his menu options. If you want biscuits and collard greens with your fried chicken, go to Popeye’s. (Some Popeye’s do or did have collard greens as a side.)
