How do you wear your socks?

Recently some friends of mine were surprised to see that I wear my socks as far up as I can get them. That is, when I put socks on, I pull them up as much as I can and if they slide down, I just tug on them slightly.

So, how do you wear your socks?

Loose. I don’t like the bite of the elastic top edge, so I let them sag. (It’s a lot less dorky, too, but that’s not the reason.)

I run with my socks inside-out. This prevents blisters.

Me too. Of course, I wear jeans and workboots most of the time…

I wear my socks inside out also, to keep the seams from givng my toes blisters. And I wear all four pairs up as high as I can pull them.

I’ve always worn the over-the-calf tube socks pulled up to just-below the knee. My wife and kids make fun of me all the time.

I used to wear my socks tied onto my belt loop to make a tail. Then I would skip and pretend I was a happy unicorn.

Not really, but it’s an interesting mental image.

If I’m wearing sneakers, i just pull the socks on until they cover my feet then leave them. If I’m wearing boots of any kind (work, combat, cowgirl) I pull the socks up as far as possible.

Unless I’m at work I normally don’t wear socks.
My socks that I wear to work I pull up, so that they are higher than my boots.

I own approximately 100 pairs (OK, maybe only 50) of white athletic socks. I wear 'em all slouchy. I love them. I have a thing for socks.

My youngest daughter has at least a hundred pairs of socks, and I think she changes them about five times a day, as far as I can figure from the laundry and what she tells me. It cheers her up to buy more socks.

LOL… accused of being a sockpuppet… will have to say I wear mine on my hands…

I used to wear nothing but knee-socks, but in my old age and since Arthur Itis has come to live with me… the short 'bobby’socks are about as far as I can pull these days.
