Probably true. The distinction is in who did they piss off, and why. For example: Obama pissed off assholes, merely by existing and being president. Trump pisses off intelligent people who cherish the constitution and norms of decency.
Support for Trump or any Republican is a matter of moral character, not intelligence. You don’t have to be smart to oppose putting children in internment camps, just decent. I know little about large-scale global economics, but I’m pretty confident in my belief that whatever qualifies one to negotiate such agreements, being a game show host with no experience in government whatsoever isn’t it.

Washington had to get around by horse, carriage or foot (never heard of him being carried on a litter). Surely there were days long stretches of simply travel, in which he didn’t do much besides appear large and presidential, but only to the closest observers.
It all depends - by most accounts (and wandering dick aside) Schwarzie did all right as a governor, in spite of his primary experience consisting in repeatedly lifting heavy things. Of course, he took the job halfway seriously.

I’m thinking that Trump is trolling the entire country. He keeps doing shit to outrage everyone and it becomes the new normal, so he has to do more outrageous shit.
His new budget proposal includes a 70% cut to U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) renewable energy and energy efficiency. He’s tried this on every budget but Congress keeps restoring the money. Even Republicans don’t want these cuts. And with Dems in charge of the House, there’s even less chance that these cuts will happen.
He’s just doing it to be a dick.
On top of this, his latest proposal coming this monday calls for another 700+ billion in “defense” spending.

I would hope that Obama would have had the class to sign and date it … inside the Bible on those pages specifically for being signed and dated. Not on the outside like a star or author might do… except I thought authors at least cracked the book and signed the flyleaf or something.
