Like hackers who break into bank systems to test their security. Just doing them a favor.
At least part of the whole point of this is to slow down the process at the polls.
Went through for me, too.
Well, not ME. It went through for Mr Peter Goesinya, whose email address is captainstubing@gmail.com
I hope you did a test E-mail first before using that E-mail address. It could actually belong to someone.
I look forward to Mr. I Otis Rush getting the exciting election update emails at his very exclusive address none@noemail.com
I figured that Captain Stubing was obscure enough to be safe, so I didn’t. But I just a test email that looks like it was delivered.
He denies it, so naturally I believe it.
He’s on video calling McCain a loser, so of course I understand all the skepticism from his supporters.
Hey! Captain Stubing was the sexiest guy on The Love Boat! I also liked him as Mary Tyler Moore’s colleague at WJM in Minneapolis.
Trump steps in his own shit every day. His staff must have a standard answer on their voice mail “What’d do now?”
If my fake email addresses, which are usually along the lines of fucktrumpslyingfatass@bidenrules.com - go through, I figure the owner of the address will have some fun with it.
These polls go through for me even when the email address is an obvious fake. And I always use the good old 864-511-0320 as the phone number.
I think that NPR should just record a standard opening for every broadcast, “The latest White House outrage is…” and then lead into the top story.
Besides being Upstate South Carolina, what is special about that number? Is it Lindsey Graham’s number?
I wonder if you can sneak 1-900 numbers in there.

I own a domain and one of the services is a forwarding email account. I have to activate it on the domain provider’s login but I can forward [anything]@[mydomain].com
I started answering all the Trump “polls” that ask for money to “validate” the responses and putting in suckmydickdonnie@[mydomain].com forwarded to my real email addy. It’s received far fewer emails than I would have figured, mostly conservative “newsletters.” After receiving a couple I hit the unsubscribe button and – so far – they’ve stopped.
DesertDog, I also have tried answering the polls. But when I go to submit I’m told the connection won’t work, or something like that. I think they was 100% positive responses and I’m not giving them that.
Well, trust me, I’m not giving any positive responses either. I’m not hitting them all, just when I’m a bit bored so we may be trying different ‘polls.’
I e been filling out these polls in a similar manner but I must’ve screwed up and answered a poll I received via email. Even though I used totally fake emails on the forms, I began getting the official Trump emails.
Dozens of them in a 12 hour period. Some from Donald, sone from his wife and kids, some from people like Diamond and Silk and the recovered My Pillow crackhead.
I’m pretty sure a lot of them were illegal, or would be if we were still enforcing laws. There were emails promising to enter me into a lottery for a prize in exchange for a donation - usually a trip where I would meet Trump -with no alternate way to enter and no info on the odds of winning.
There were emails from Trump family members promising to PERSONALLY match my donation 700%, 800%… .
Then I tried to unsubscribe. The link was not only buried in the small type among several links like “find out how to give more”, it was the only link without a highlighted hyperlink.
The link did not unsubscribe, it lead to a form you had to fill out to unsubscribe. You also had to answer questions like “Are you a”
A. American
B. Socialist
Then the money question was
“What setting would you prefer”
A. Send me all emails
B. Send me less e-mails
C. Other
There was a list of senders further down in the survey and I was able to unsubscribe to all. I guess it worked because I haven’t received an email in 5 hours.
But it’s all so really scammy it really must be off-putting to any possible Trump voters that aren’t full-fledged cultists.
Anyway, I’ve got time and I’m going to report all this to the postal service cops. I can’t believe that hasn’t been done a million times but I’m going to do it anyway.

Hmmm… I guess there is that one guy…

Thanks for doing that. I hope it does some good.
As always, one’s mind turns to imagining the reactions of Republicans to any such thing being done by a Democrat.
But they’re absolutely fine with law-breaking, not to say grifting, by their own.
