There’s eight years of Bush-era mistakes that can be blamed on Obama to keep him busy.
Trump praises death-squad-complicit, Obama-insulting Filipino president; invites him (naturally) to the White House: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2017/04/30/trump-invites-controversial-philippine-leader-duterte-to-the-white-house/?utm_term=.52e82a390eab
Shit, right you are. A yes for that one is all it takes. :smack:
Trump on the United States Civil War, “People don’t ask that question, but why was there a Civil War?”
Really? Do you for real believe that that’s not a question that people ask?
Trump says he’d consider increasing the gas tax.
Fifty bucks says that by later this afternoon he comes out for lowering the gas tax.
Trump takes admiration for tyrants to next level, says he would be ‘honored’ to meet with Kim Jong Un.
Wait, didn’t he just say the other day that … oh nevermind. :smack:
Bombing Syria was “in lieu of after-dinner entertainment,” Commerce Secretary says: Commerce Secretary recounts Trump Syria bombing as free “after-dinner entertainment."
Ha. Ha.
I know this is obvious to any thinking, rational, compassionate human being, but it’s therapeutic for me to list just why this is so repugnant:
(First, WTF was the Commerce secretary hanging around when military decisions were being made?)
-
Taken completely literally: launching 59 Cruise missiles is anything but free. What are they, like a $1M each?
-
And then there’s the cost to the United States’ foreign policy. We’re now a country that will lob missiles at foreign states that have done us no harm and pose no threat.
-
And of course, last and certainly not least, it wasn’t free to those on whom the missiles landed, and their families. And I’m sure the destruction didn’t rain only on horrible monster gas-bombing Syrian soldiers – we undoubtedly got some janitors who was working the night shift.
We saw trump’s 100 days commercial, where he tells how much good stuff he has done. This included stealing a Supreme Court seat, bringing “conservative values” to health care, cutting taxes, making our borders safe, and showing world leaders that he is nucking futz. It was horrible.
But even more, has any president in the history of the USA (even those before TV
) ever made a commercial like this? It’s unpresidented, I tells ya!
Sure as hell new and different to start your re-election campaign when the Bible is still smouldering where he put his hand on it.
It’s like he missed the point that the campaign/election is the means to an end, not the end itself.
That commercial really pissed me off. Wanker.
I’m so gonna steal this.
Apparently our Snowflake-In-Chief is upset that the Democrats hurt his tender feelings:
Poor baby!!
Now lemme see: Mr. Art-of-the-Deal and his party made a deal with the Democrats. The Democrats are quite happy with the deal. Whose fault is it that Mr. Art-of-the-Deal isn’t? Maybe he and his party shouldn’t have made a deal if they weren’t OK with it too! Oh dear me, maybe he isn’t such a great negotiator after all!
You’d never see Trump gloating or belittling anyone after getting what he wants. That’s just unseemly.
This part of the MSNBC article stood out to me:
That makes me happy, sad, and terrified all at the same time: happy that he didn’t get what he wanted; sad that our country put such a boob in charge; and terrified of what he’ll do when he’s angry.
MSNBC characterized the bill as ignoring most of Trump’s demands. Trump has also been criticized for having accomplished so little in his first 100 days. Is he turning out to be one of the weakest Presidents we’ve had? Knowing that everything is some kind of crazy dominance display with Trump, what is he going to do to assert himself? It has to be military action, right? Is that the only area where he has pretty much unfettered authority to wave his dick around?
I am more of the suspicion Mister Art Of The Deal was left out of it because both sides were afraid he’d fuck it all up.
So now Presidump Fucknut is tweeting his stubby little fingers off and whining for government shutdowns.
Why? Mick Mulvaney, the White House budget director, told reporters Tuesday afternoon that the reason Trump floated the possibility of a shutdown was all because of Democrats’ happiness at the spending deal. Over and over, he went after Democrats for hurting the president’s feelings.
“The Dems have been trying to claim victory on this, which I think is a very strange way to look at a bipartisan discussion. If you’re in a bipartisan meeting, I think it is very unusual for one group to walk out and start spiking the football and say, ‘We won, we killed the other guys.’ It certainly doesn’t bode very well for future discussions.”
“I think what you heard this morning was his sense of frustration over how he’s being mistreated by the Democrats on a bipartisan piece of legislation.”
“What I think you heard the president express this morning was frustration over how he’s been treated as part of the negotiation. And it may be if things don’t get better, we may get to that point [of a shutdown].”
If the government shuts down in September, the White House is already saying it will be the Democrats’ fault ― because they had the audacity to hurt President Donald Trump’s feelings.
Fuck him.
“I didn’t screw 'em ? They’re happy with the deal ? The absolute CUNTS !”
This fucking speech. “Isn’t it great to bring prayer to the White House?” NO!!! Fucking NO, you orange clown! The point is to separate church and state!
Huh. Washington Times.
Slumming, Monty?
Yes, he fucking has. I just got off the phone with my congressman’s voice mail. I managed to get through my rant about the Tuesday Night Massacre only swearing once.
