I just saw footage of Trump advising Catalonians to stick with Spain “because it’s a great country” and it has a “great history”.
I guess that’s one way of telling people that he thinks Europe’s a dump because he cheered when Britain left it. Seems he also thought that Scotland should be happy to leave crappy England.

And now we learn that, not content with physically mocking* a disabled reporter during the campaign, Trump is reported to be physically mocking both McConnell and McCain in private.
I despise McConnell; despite his helping to kill ACA repeal I don’t much care for McCain, for many reasons; but goddammit, mockingly aping McConnell is simply childish, and mockingly aping the arm movements of McCain, who broke both arms in the crash that made him a North Vietnamese prisoner, is just downright despicable for anyone, let alone Mr. “Bone Spur” Deferment.

To paraphrase Trump’s statement in the linked article: he was considering waiving the Jones Act, but a lot of shipping companies were opposed.
So in other words, Crowley Maritime gets a vote as to whether or not the people of Puerto Rico get humanitarian relief.
I’m not shocked that it’s true, just that he was stupid enough to say it out loud.

“Opening up the entire contents of a personal Facebook page for review by the government is a gross invasion of privacy,” said Scott Michelman, a senior staff attorney at ACLU. “When law enforcement officers can comb through records concerning political organizing in opposition to the very administration for which those officers work, the result is the chilling of First Amendment-protected political activity.”
You left out the part about the illegal planning of violent protests and the approval of a federal judge of the warrant.
