I’ll settle for depressingly ironic.
Though I only remember receiving one spanking, my dad’s threat was ‘I’ll paddle your canoe!’
For the longest time, I thought ‘canoe’ was slang for your bum.
It’s so funny what the memory tells us! I could have sworn it was Santa Barbara, and I’m fairly certain it was out of town … a small road trip, at least.
What did you think when someone talked about seeing a gnu out in the wild?
“It was hairy and smelly and had flies buzzing all around it, that thing was huge.”
Then this one time, at band camp, when we went down to the lake…
You don’t play the flute, do you…?
I wonder if it will be more compelling than MyPillow guy Mike Lindell’s irrefutable evidence from last summer. Or maybe it was two summers ago…
I’m sure Jack Smith and Fani Willis are both waiting to see this “report” with bated breath. And possibly popcorn.
Thanks for that, @Ann_Hedonia .
and additional charges!
As I said:
It’s happening sooner than two weeks from now, so it has to be true.
Trump tells Glenn Beck he’d ‘lock up’ political opponents if reelected
It’s a short read, but basically, Tan the Conman continues lying about why and how he got indicted and states that as president he’ll have no choice but to lock up his political opponents.
Even shorter parsing: He promises to do dictator stuff.
Ms James thinks she can prove Trump inflated his worth by $2.2B. Presumably therefore his actual inflation of his worth was more like $4.4B. And my guess is that means he had about $8.8B less than he claimed. Which when you round up implies he represented he had about $17.6B less than he claimed.
As I’ve stated before, maybe even in this thread, my fondest hope for Trump is that his financial empire is brought down in ashes. We all know it’s mostly fake, and that what’s real is leveraged to the hilt. It shouldn’t take much to collapse the whole house of cards.
It really reminds me of Mark Hoffmann and his forgeries and promises to provide non-existent items of value. I honestly woudln’t be surprised if Tan the Conman himself or if one of his immediate family/collaborators started killing people the closer Judgment Day Atlanta gets.
I wonder if Trump and his collaborators would mostly use aggression to humiliate someone. The situations when I’ve heard Trump use aggression seemed motivated that way. He’s joked about for example ‘taking’ the guy who stormed the stage at a Trump event before the '16 election. It seemed like he wasn’t at all serious and would have physically backed away. Regarding specifically those who govt officials working on charges in Georgia, well I just find it hard to believe he’d try to physically hurt one of them. I know he believes he’s above arrest for his behaviors but I can’t picture he, his sons or employees taking violent action. But if ‘collaborators’ included the whipped-up people who have tried to support him in '20, I could unfortunately see some short-sighted lunatic acting rash. I think the person committing violence would have even less impulse control and unfortunately mental stability than Trump, his family or collaborators. I picture someone like the guy who broke into Pelosi’s house who wasn’t in network with any politicians.
I agree. Trump is a cowardly bully. He gets other people to do his dirty work for him. He has his cult members convinced that he’s a, “tough guy,” mostly 'cause he says so. The cult is stupid enough to believe him, and will joyfully carry out the physical punishment of his “enemies,” so they can prove to him that they’re, “tough” too.
I just don’t understand the slavish devotion to this person. The devotion spans from strangers, to political allies, to employees, all of whom he is happy to throw under the metaphorical bus, (I’m sure he do it with a real bus too if it advantaged him.) He is petty, stupid, mean spirited, dishonest, weak, he expects unwavering loyalty yet offers none in return, and he is a coward. What do they see in him? He isn’t even nice to look at. I will never ever understand this.
I have little doubt that, if Trump or his cronies had believed murdering election officials in swing states could have helped them overturn Biden wins, they would have sought to make it happen.
He’s a TV star and a “billionaire” who hates the same people they do, and isn’t afraid to say so. End of story.
